You know, there is something I find extremely hilarious about this whole thing. Everyone saying that it's over for Team Final Fantasy will be the same individuals dropping their jaws and calling it complete and utter BS when possibly Ryu or Hayate gets defeated.

This isn't a world of 1-hit KOs, people. Ryu isn't going to touch someone and automatically kill them. Sorry not going to happen. Don't assume things, because I guarantee you. Things will not end up as you think.

Ugh..this series, while awesome is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. Normally the DoA characters could never beat the FF characters, so they decide to outnumber them as much as possible (as with Yuna and Tifa) or just plain break the rules. (I.e., running away when Cloud appears, and having Yuna get her materia stolen) I think the creator needed to find loopholes like that to compensate for the fact the DoA characters couldn't possibly stand up to the FF characters in a fair fight.

Also, Mortal Kombat AND Soul Calibur - Kratos has killed gods, yet mortals can still pwn him.

Everyone has every chance of beating the sht out of everyone else. Just enjoy the damn CGI.

@Epikossumnis Not that I'm disagreeing on the point of your post (It's true that crossovers tend to ignore power differences), but Kratos killing the gods isn't all that impressive. Despite calling them "gods" they're in no way, shape, or form similar to a "God" (Divine, all-knowing, all-powerful beings). The ones we see in GoW rarely do anything totally noteworthy.

The fact that we rarely see them actually DO anything at all in GoW (and it's usually vague when they do) doesn't help.
