@11xzxzxz thank you for asking. I am a happy camper. I think the sad songs have more depth and I think I have had normal sadness growing up. Then again maybe I have never grown up. The song sort of comes out if it's a certain kind of song and generally it's not uncommonly like this. A friend of mine who likes music said I hate James Taylor he sounds so depressed. In fact listen to the Drake. In fact listen to" another train" Pete Morton.- Nick Drake" they is done". My posts or the original. :-)
@mumd2003 I likes when James was solemn but don't like when he does the older melancholic songs with his new happy voice .. it's a little dis-jarring to my ears, these ears and this town my town.
@MegaCrystalwater things like that make me think of songs where people have responded the same way were the song speaks to that. For complex issues like that sometimes I think a song speaks to the issue. I'll try to send you some in case they appeal. No apply necessary. I am glad the song above and add to the world . They arewe need more music.
wanted to send u some songs that speak to above. i cant send links this way so convert the words below to text an then add either of the following and see if you can get the link to the songs. thanks for feedback.
one is another train by pete morton and the other is JT everybodys got the blues h tee tee pee forward slash forward slash double u double u dot youtube dot com forward slash watcch
I think you perform this better than James now. Something happen to James - he got over his drug addiction and now he is happy & he sings all of his songs with a smile and happiness and it's strange. Mum has the right tone of voice for a bittersweet song.. wake up mr james taylor! and listen to this...it's been a long time since sadness but it's a town called Malice.
When my spirit starts to sink it comes as no surprise
I've come a long way from anywhere like heaven to your town, this town.
Your voice is so unique, gentle and it cracks with pain though I hope you are a happy camper.

Nice acoustic 60s/70s vibe, your voice almost has a bit of a Jim Croce feel to it
