@tulkdog i know your comments is 5 years old, but in star trek canon lore, the fed had an agreement with the romulans not to use cloacking devices and now most of the members of the fed would still vote against cloack
foundry section was just bad. spoilt so much of the mission. seriously if your gonna do this atleast give a warning of spoilers. half the mission was spoilt.

excuse my ignorance, but i've been thinking this since first played the game on release. Why does the federation not use cloaking devices? They obviously have the tech and it would provide them a tactical advantage and save those star fleat lives so why don't they use them??? Any input to help me understand would be great. Honestly the Kilingons in this game in PvP seemed like cowards ganking the feds from cloak and hide when damaged. Not very brave or honorable.
If you made it so that the duplicate of the Ship stays briefly and cannot be really killed (like 2 to 4 seconds) and your ship moves at Full Impulse for the same amount of time and decloak the moment your double disappear thus allowing you to essentially do a Picard Maneuver.
Word on the lvl-ing thing, hitting 11. arg Plus when respec-ing or hitting VA for th first time and you don't because you have that last 100 skill points.. grrr
Great episode. I'm glad the Foundry is up and working again. I'm eagerly awaiting the Doff system release so that I will feel the game is worth paying for another month.
Another good newby miss, is in the mission "Stranded in Space".
When you jump in and the enemy ships are attacking the Azura, theres an achievment that people might miss. on the left side of the attack you see a big Asteroid with an opening in the middle, if you head over there and go through the opening, you get the achievment. its a very cool tacitcal move when you think about it. PS love the pod cast show.
The only reason most would purchase a tier 2 ship at this point would be for the console, and for that, it's incredibly overpriced. I still dont understand why these consoles that come with the new ships can't be crafted.
@shamrockduck Simple if it can be crafted by Players then fewer people would purchase the ship. Like he said they are a company and have to make money someway. Wait when it goes free to play you will see all sorts of stuff going this way.
as an active part of the pvp community since launch i'm feeling quite frustrated over the fact that NO changes has been made to space pvp exepct for the REMOVAL of one of the game types.
I'm sorry, i was in a bad mood. but the truth is that pve in this game requires no skill, pvp does.
PM me for a perfect example of pve in sto. (since you can't link urls in comments)
i think the klingons should get three ships that together equal the F. the klingons to me same to play as a pack not solo. the feds on the other hand play solo.
I suggest a multi-episode week :D for 100 :D Maybe a normal episode, then a community-involved episode right after (Jupiter-Fleet?), then maybe a tossup whether a post of a live streamed show highlights, etc. Maybe even a live, with-community rapid-fire Q&A interview with Daniel Stahl? :D
My Tribal Knowledge offer is: Did you know that you cannot reach Vice Admiral 1 if you have not spent ALL your SP (even 100), so take care spending SP especially in lower skill tiers.
