To anyone having problems with the garradors on this stage, here's a little tip. Garradors will die with two riot gun shots to the exposed plaga on their back -_- And with HUNK just use a grenade then pump about 20 rounds into the exposed plaga, they go down quick.

It would be nice if people would list the system they are playing on. I have the GC version and it is much harder than the other versions. Playing Leon I can only get 30-40k. I have tried blasting away, but the timer ends so much faster on GC version and the most I can hit is 18. The Garrador almost always kills me. I need to get past the castle with Leon and Hunk, but it is just impossible.

This is one jaw-drop start.

Is this start (1st 17 kills) with Leon a reliable strategy? I find with shot-gunning the barrel, the monks always register a shotgun hit before the barrel explodes, so 2 of the 9 are not killed by the barrel at all. End up having to shoot them once more. Use the pistol with a different strategy, i do. Not as fast as this tho.

It is a pattern necessary so that Leon may exceed 240,000.

shot-gunning the barrel→9kill Success, 7or8kill Failure.

Havn't played re4 in a while. just getting back to it.

Last comment was speaking from memory just (5 months previous), managing that instant 9-kill say, 3 times per 100 attempts using your method. Triggering that metal head up the steps quick enough is tricky. So i went for for the plaga-G as my 9th which is obviously slower. This start strategy of yours is amazing. What i mean to ask is, can you trigger this start on most attempts?
