eating fast food is a CHOICE! McDonalds doesnt come down the street and put a gun to your head and say get in here and eat or im gonna blow your head off! God i hate liberals they are becoming more power hungry everyday the next thing will be when and how many times i can use the restroom!
No one forces anyone to eat at a certain place. My family eats fast food once every few months. Why should normal people have to lose out because some gluttons decide that they need Papa Government to hold their hand while they choose what's on the menu?
Whats next? the government going to tell us what toothpaste to use? what clothes to wear? tofu creates flatulence..we should ban that too so people's farts wont add to global warming! go away government.
the fact is peoples behavior needs to be changed and fees on unhealthy food would do that! the states could take the money from the fees and offset their health care costs with it . before everyone gets excited remember this is NOT a tax it is a fee there is a different!! here in my state i am petitioning for the same thing but we feel all junk food should be targeted not just fast food>>

i agree that fast food should have some sort of regulation like we have on cigaretes . i feel that fees could be a good form of deterrent based on fat content and calories . why should rich CEOs of restaurants get rich off of making people sick? i am a vegetarian and do not eat that junk and i keep fit also by going for a power walk 30 min a day why should i have to pay for peoples health bill when they get sick from this junk i also feel sausage bacon brats polish sausage etc should be targeted
