wow, i watched this video months ago, and was nothing but parplexed and amazed, when i clicked back onto it today, i was still amazed by the fluidity of your spinning, but for the first time, undersand the components of what your doing well enough to try to replicate them. This is a fantastic video. you are always an insiration.
that cool isolation huggies combo... We use a lot to call it : "the Thomas move". And really, it looks so great ;) You're the most awesome poi spinner I've ever seen ;)
The smoothness of your flow is always mesmerizing. Just found this one. I really like the isolation something at 1:24ish where your isolations are done half behind your shoulder and half in front.
great stuff!! i keep coming back to this video. i draw lots of inspiration from it. i like that 'weird huggieisolationovertheheadcombo' you make that trick look good!!
anyways your a real gem, i want you to make another video and give away all your secrets.
This video blows my mind...Ive watched it like a million times and it never fails to inspire me. I LOVE the track anybody know who it is?? Song name?? *many thanks*
Hej, Thomas, thank you for the great workshop in Köln. Finally I understood the Hybrid. Hope, you liked Germany and come back for more workshops. Tack sa mycket! Jubs med svartet schallett
That "isolated something" could be explained as a an alternated carry over [ through wrap ]. You have it so that the poi glide over your shoulders, but you can use your shoulders to thrust the poi back and forth as well. Very cool for mass isolated combinations.
Lol, watching your videos stealing your skills ;) That beatswitch pirhouett will feel so nice once I can do it ( gave it a few tries today ).
Lots and lots of crazy stuff in there, your becoming better at such an incredibly rapid speed. I really look forward to going/meeting up with you in Japan for JFF!
really really nice vid thomas :) id love to see a slightly higher quality to try figure out some of them :) but excellent footage and some great ideas
Very cool stuff in here. I am going to attempt to learn the lockouts, butterfly thing and the monkey jumps:P
