@TheFBIBandit Although I have thought about re-making this video with more clearer instructions nothing drastic has changed yet, this still works even with the new updates from the OC post it still works fine via copying everything from the D3 MPQs folder to the server Assets>MPQ.

There is also other repository's for Mooege, but this one on OC has the latest/updated recommended build.

So when the beta client says "Installing", it'll download some stuff, and then there's the other 600 or so megs from the extra files you added, which adds up to about 3GB? Hmm...I really want to try it but it seems risky when there are so many people complaining that it doesn't work

@TheRedbuckets This might be caused because you have corrupted MPQ files, download the ones from the site and place them in your D3 MPQs folder:

EXAMPLE: C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III beta\Data_D3\PC\MPQs

Remember, all the "update-base" files go into the base folder, the rest go into the MPQs folder. Then you copy everything in MPQs and paste it in your Mooege server assets - MPQ folder.

The link for the MPQs does not work for me.It says "An Error Occurred.[#10CCS2] We could not find the page you were looking for. ".I also tried to find it by clicking the Beginner Guide but still the same.I can't find them anywhere else.I tried googling it but still nothing.Is there anywhere I can find them or any way to make the link work? @MutiKevin Thanks.You were right.My youtube account was blocking it for whatever reason.I downloaded them successfully but now there is another problem.When I try to load mooege like shown in the video at 3:49 it loads untill where it says "found a total of 335 assets -bla-bla-bla- lazy loading is activated".After that the letters turn red and it terminates.It says [Fatal] [Program] Mooege terminating because of unhandled exception.I have mooege for patch 10.Any advice?

@xairetamoutonplatwna Make sure you downloaded the uncorrupted MPQs and put them in the correct folder,

all the update-base files go into:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III Beta\Data_D3\PC\MPQs\base

And the Client-data, Core-data and Base-win go into the main MPQs folder, then copy everything from the MPQs folder and paste it into the Mooege assets - MPQ folder.

If you do this correctly, it should work fine.

@MutiKevin I've checked many times and I'm 100% certain that I've done everything exactly as shown in the video.I even redownloaded everything and started again from scratch.Everything is as it's supposed to be-update files in DiabloIIIBeta\Data_D3\PC\MPQs\­base and Client-data,Core-data and Base-win into the main MPQs folder.Copied everything & pasted in Mooege\assets\MPQs. But the error persists.I noticed that the 8296.mpq doesn't exist in the downloadable MPQs.Could it be related?

Google this "Mooege- The Diablo 3 Emulator - Updated Master Compiles" go to page 60 and if you scroll down a bit you will find a link to download that d3-update-base-8296.MPQ file.then just replase the older one in Mooege\assets\MPQs\base and bingo!!! I followed all the steps. I get to the point where i am about to open the shorcut i just made of the Diablo 3 exe. The diablo 3 sign shows on the screen and disapears. Nothin happens... any suggestions?

@JammerRO Remember you need the uncorrupted MPQ files from the website to make it work.

Go into your Diablo 3 MPQs folder it should look somthing like this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III Beta\Data_D3\PC\MPQs - select everything in the folder and copy it, goto your Mooege - Assets - MPQ folder where the IMPORTANT file is located, then paste it all there and overwrite anything.

@Studer4243 Are you using the shortcut for Diablo III, with the server up? You may need to allow it through Windows Firewall, usually a window opens up asking for access for me though.

@Studer4243 Are you sure you are using the shortcut?: Right click Diablo III.exe - Create shortcut, edit the shortcut properies and add in the launch settings: -launch -auroraaddress localhost:1345

I get error 3003 when I try to use the real Diablo III launcher, supposedly patch 10 is out and no one can login, causing the error for the real launcher. The shortcut allows you to connect to the emulated server. I hope this helps you this time.

Heyya, I've just done exactly what you've said on this tutorial, the server worked fine, but then when I launched the game, after seeing D3 in the middle of the screen nothing happened.. Do you have a clue why that happened? In the end, the game did not launch.

hey there im running windows 7 with .net framework 4.0. downloaded first file and unziped into c:\qindows\system32\ also downloaded .executable and intslaed it too. still the same problem

@2012PL Go into the Mooege config.ini file and edit all of the "BindIP: 0.0.0.0" to "BindIP: YOUR-IP", Get your IP from whatismyipaddressDOTcom and change the shortcut from "localhost" to your IP. If this doesn't work you might need to change BindIP back to 0.0.0.0 and set the shortcut with localhost again. NOW if this doesn't work, then there might be a simpler option, load up the server, and windows firewall will popup, click allow access and launch game and play. I hope this helps you.
