Are you sure you are recording in HD mode as this camera has both options, you would almost think this is a competitor to Vado showing a poor viral marketing video

hi i'm wondering what software did u use for editing vado hd videos?, it seems all my video editing software is not compatible with the format.. the vado central and muvee doesnt help either, they dont have feature to combine different clips. do let me know about software that are compatible on vado format for editing.. thanks for ur time..

I don't use video editing software. I shoot and upload.I searched web, I discovered information. if you use Mac, you convert file into Apple ProRes422.Then use iMovie08.I do not understand that it is possible.I use Windows.

which would you prefer..The SONY HD or VADO HD?

I have not used Sony HD. However, I think that Vado HD has better picture when I watch specifications sheet becouse Vado HD has high bit rate in comparison with Sony HD. As for the sound, Vado HD is monaural, and Sony HD is a stereo.

Vado HD cannot take a still image. However, Sony HD is possible.

Akihabara, nice. I was just there last Sunday, I take the Tsukuba Express because I come from Chiba. I took videos of it with my Vado HD. Nothing at night though.

GREAT VIDEO!! i just ordered mine in the mail yesterday! a bit of advice: try not resting your elbow on your hip, instead, just hold it normally, that helps for a more stable video :)

Wow, you seem to care a lot about this. I just thought it was a coincidence that I just happened to buy this camera and take a trip to Japan and go to this exact spot.
