  • The singer here is Derv Gordon. Just as it was in 1968 when the song was originally recorded.

    Eddy Grant wrote the song but wasn't the lead singer in the Equals. That was always Derv.

  • Yes, that's the great Dzal on lead guitar. Dzal started off with the Equals, then formed Humble-Pie sounding No Dice, played with the John Fiddler- reformed Yardbirds, i.e., Box of Frogs, has gigged with Terry Reid too, besides being a longtime lead guitarist for the Equals.
