  • the bankers caused the problem so FUCK off to them XD

  • Some lies in this video. The tories inherited unemployment figures of 800,000 in 1979. They then swelled this to 3 million. Labour did actually reduce unemployment while they were in power.

  • @MrGurlyboy so despite the fact that bascially all the current problems we have stem back to brown, you still want to blame the tories? good one!

  • @TheConnorian Pfft I didn't say he was faultless but the current problems we have stem back to Thatcher like it or not.

  • @MrGurlyboy True, however they would not be affecting us half as much had Gordon not been a proper plonker.

  • The laughing on this video is so stupid. You could probably read the main sentence twice before "vote for me" appears, THEN the crowd piss themselves. The "vote for me" bit isnt funny.

  • If you have any doubt how much of a "fucking disaster" the "One-eyed Scottish Idiot" was then google "Tullett Prebon Thinking the Unthinkable". It is 34 page report that describes a litany of failure and incompetence that characterized his time as Chancellor and PM. Brown just about fucked up everything he got his hands on .This shameless, reckless, mentally unstable, desperate moron has done severe damage to this country that will not be undone for decades if ever.

  • Typical Conservative propaganda. All Conservatives are interested in - like their Labour buddies - is giving £billions of our taxes to the totally corrupt and criminal led European Union project. £billions of our taxes given to the EU while - at the same time - massive spending cuts and resultant job losses here in the UK. Curses and damnation to the EU and all who support it with our UK taxes.

  • Typical Labour - All they are good at is ruining everything. Vote Conservatives. That is all.

  • What a piece of nonsense.

  • it's funny to see people complaining the cuts and attacking the conservative's because of it, but they should be attacking the labour party for getting the country in debt. if labour hadn't gotten us into debt all these cuts wouldn't of happened in the first place.

  • It is not blood running through your veins. It is concentrated evil.

  • You are carrying out Labour plans to exterminate the sick and disabled via robbery, perseuction and terrorism. To kill weak people is disgusting. To trick the most innocent and trusting out of benefits at job centres is the lowest you have stooped to yet. You absolutely disgust me.

  • They are either laughing with gordon or at him...

  • This is literally the worst election broadcast I have ever seen.

  • Are they laughing at what brown says, or the idea of voting Tory? Not quite clear...

  • but i like criminals & gordon brown let em out? WHAT A FUCKIN LEGEND!

  • everything in that advert the tories have already done and gone further.

  • everything in that adver the tories have already done and gone further.

  • Every Labour government ends up broke then the die-hard left wing supporters retreat back into their "We hate Tories" slogans and chants.

  • @WillHalligan That is so true.

  • @WillHalligan 4 words for you: The Three Day week

  • @Lab356 I lived through the 3 day week and clearly remember the left wing wreckers who were determined to destroy everything, even the Daily Mirror featured Andy Cap complaining about their behaviour. Anybody who ever tried to order a part for a Leyland car will remember those days.

  • tipcal tory way getting votes mock laber look what the acived swet and blood and beter contry and services for all the took swat argument but laber did it and then the same old torysd come in and mess the contry up in 6 months you got seen to quikly in a hospital with laber the targets worked now there not there you can be whating hours this is the same old tory never trust a tory they will lie

  • @screammac I am 20 years old firstly, Learn how to spell 'Labour' what in the name of all that is holy is 'Laber'? Second I Can only ever remember a Labour Government, and I have waited 6 hours to be seen for a broken arm. You call this fast? Also the Tories comes and mess it up, have you not seen the news we have been hit hard by the deficit, and Labour was in power. The Tories can't mess it up, there is no money left to mess around with, the Labour Party has spent it all.

  • @MrLwalker90

"The Tories can't mess it up, there is no money left to mess around with"

Oh you poor innocent thing. :)

  • "I increased the gap between rich and poor" - your joking right? conservatives are so hypercritical!

  • A message from Gordon Brown: "Allah Akbar! Soon all indigenous British will be ethnically cleansed from their own country by my programme of mass uncontrolled immigration"

  • @TheZanipolo 'God is the greatest', You are right, immigration needs to be stopped.

  • 'I caused record youth unemployment'

Well I think the record will be broken by the Torys in 2012.

  • I love reading all the Labour supporters comments...... you people have no idea how an economy works do you?

The treasury is not funded by a bottomless pot of gold, Brown encouraged 14 years of borrowing not only as chancellor but also as PM, and what do we have to show for all that WASTED money? a debt ridden government and a debt ridden populace

WHEN WILL YOU LABOUR VOTERS WAKE UP AND REALISE MONEY DOESN'T MAGICALLY APPEAR IN THE COUGHER'S ???

  • @chapmasi when will you tories wake up and realise that money is not the most important thing in the world?

  • @JamesBCS I know full well money isn't the most important thing in life, but I have enough common sense to realise it is the driving force behind nearly everything that happens in the world we live in.

Please explain to me what good is done by throwing countless billions into wasteful projects and selling our gold reserves at the bottom of the fiscal market?

  • @chapmasi I didn't support many things labour did, although the increases in funding for public services was a good thing, despite some not being allocated correctly. Eg. Building Schools for the Future was a good and needed policy, which the tories have scrapped. Also the fact that there is only a 7.5% cut in defence spending when most other departments will suffer much larger cuts is awful. And when 490,000 lose their jobs, remember it's the government which will be paying their benefits.

  • @chapmasi, No one can explain. You have a good point. Well said.

  • The conservaties will make things worse and then people will vote for labour again because they think labour will fix it. Then Labour will make things even worse so people will get the conservatives back in eventually.

The only way forward is to wait until I have the resources and backing to start my own political party, eventually I'll have MP candidates and everyone should vote for them. Does that sound like a plan?

  • @god0fgod Every Labour government ends with it running out of money.

  • Fuckinell..ive seen it all now...cemeron is a evil little hippercitical dictator.....i really hope labour do exactly the same to dictator cameron in 5 years..lets hope its sooner than that!

  • thing is people are so quick to blame osborne for the cuts but really he didn't do anything wrong, it was the incompetent labour government. also what osborne has imposed may be hard but it is either that and pay them off or less cuts and not really get anywhere. do people want us to stay in debt for ever? if we payed it off the way labour planned we would only pay off interest and at the moment we are paying off interest and debt. now do you see why we need these cuts? if not you have redvision

  • @LadyMikala I agree Gideon needs to make cuts, but the manner in which he has done so is just plain unfair and insulting. All this money cut from the poor who needs it most, when the rich can still get away with murder. For example, how is it fair to cut EMA, which costs £500 million pounds, when the government has let Vodafone off with £4.75 BILLION in unpaid tax?

  • @0MrAnon2 i get what your saying and thanks for being the first person to disagree about something to reply without being rude :) i think ema has been cut too soon but in a few years people have to stay in some sort of education till 18 so they will be paying nearly all 16-18 year olds but i agree they shouldn't have cut it yet. and i dont know why they were let off, bit stupid as then they could have paid off some of the countries debts with that.

  • @LadyMikala You Talk Out of your Arse, The Way We are Going with the speed of the cuts This country will Implode, unemployment will Double if we are not careful, Cameron is taking a massive gamble with the economy, Where is the tax revenue going to come from when there is 4.5 million on Benifits, Fuel Is set to rise Dramatically Over the next Twelve months Putting even more jobs at Risk, The Mans A clown, Hes in it for his own ends Period. Cameron The Traitor.

  • @spinaway oh WHATEVER you see red jackass!! look 4 people agreed with the comment so shut up cos i dont care about your opinion

  • @LadyMikala Ha Ha I see Red, You See Nothing, Take you blue Blinkers Off and you will See , watch this space, Gas to rise, electricity To rise, fuel to rise, food to rise, unemployment to rise, immigration to rise, inflation to rise tax to rise, The Prospects look good, wait twelve months and Then tell me i was wrong, you THICK cow.

  • @spinaway your seriously boring sort your life out. sad person!

  • @LadyMikala Why have i shattered your dreams of an aristocratic lifestyle, you will be working class till you are 66 now that the tories are in power. lmao

  • @LadyMikala

Lol.. The same Osbourne that supported all the spending til the banking crisis..

The same Osbourne who said we should not have supported Northern Rock.

The same Osbourne that likes whips and chains!

    Priceless!

  • @jaguarclaw And where did he spend it in las vagas?

  • @jaguarclaw The reason for the cuts is simple, if the city lose confidence in the economy then the borrowing they do to the government will be at much higher rates costing us the taxpayer.

If we hit the bankers then they will simply move abroad to countries that are happy to welcome them, they can still do the same damage they have already done to the banks from anywhere in the world, people miss this point.

Keep the bastards here and tighten up on a few tax loopholes to get more from them.

  • @jaguarclaw Yes thats right concerning borrowing.

yes the government could do that if we didn't have such a large welfare state & a ridiculous NHS both which are open to continual abuse.

Thatcher created the golden share where the UK had overall power over the privatised utility companies.

This stopped foreign takeovers of all our utilities until Labour sold them back in 2000.

  • @jaguarclaw The government issues Gilts (or gilt-edged stocks) bondsthey pay interest 2x a year. These are issued on the stock market so they actually go to the city for money. As for where do the city get money from, they get it through various methods, just look at the stock market, futures markets, forex markets etc.

As for the Tories, when they left power in 97, they left a £1.8 billion surplus in the treasury, we now have approx £180 billion debt.

  • @markyboy1704 Cameron said it was the booming world economy that was fuelling britains growth.

  • For anybody still buying into the "decent human being" angle, please read Tom Bower's biography of Gordon Brown for a dissection of the dogmatic, lying, bullying, nationalistic, chauvinist that ran the UK.

  • I laughed, and voted labour. Fuck you Cameron.

  • we the public of Great Britain demand that the government and the elite stop their new world order bullsh-t. entrance to the EU was an act of treason and one day soon you will be charged and prosecuted under the law act of treason and sedition. the magna carta supersedes any that tries to replace it. all the parties are the same labour tories lib dems they all have the same agenda WAKE UP! use the Internet to crosscheck what i have said.

  • id rather have 80,000 criminals out then our benefits go

  • @NEXTCMedia What benefits do you get?

  • Lot of butthurt Labour fans here.

  • @mightywindmill102 and a lot of hard hearted blue rinse brigade tories. :-(

  • I think i shall move away from England and go to Scotland where it is 99% a conservative free zone and away from silly Middle England. BLISS!!!!!!

  • @Glendabenda1 You'll be back.

  • @foxychixx1985 yes when we get rid of this shower of eartha kit!!!!!

  • @foxychixx1985 when we get a labour government.

  • Nice to see Tory boy cam shuffling and hiding behind osbourne today on the budget, quite funny really. Do you think cam has turned into Harry enfields Tory boy :-)

  • National Debt John Major 1997 - 192 Million ( CONSERVATIVES )

    Tony Blair 485 Million ( LABOUR )

Gordon Brown 2.7 Billion( LABOUR )

David Cameron 2.6 Billion ( Note these figures are NOT accurate but they do figure in corrolation with HM Treasury deficit reports.

    Labour = Sly Bastards

Conservatives = Bastards with vision and want politics with a backbone

  • @eddieoxford you are correct eddie your figures are not accurate. enjoy your tory b****rd with vision and backbone budget. It may hurt ever so slightly.

  • why can no-one see what that jock did to england? or maybe your to busy freakin out coz you have to get a job now?!?! either way.......fucking hell people wake up will ya! this country is in serious shit all thanks to one party....labour!

  • @theHatchett1, yes hatchett i do have a job and have never been out of work since i left college. If you think the jock and labour have ruined our wonderful country wait a few months until messers davey (thatcher boy cameron) and snake in the grass cleggy have finished. perhaps you wern't an apple in your daddies eye in the wonderful 80's during thatchers reign, i can remember the 80's and early 90's under tory control. Now you will be able to experience this for yourself. You lucky boy! :-(

  • @bigmember123 i'm 48 years old soppy bollex lol i remember why labour got frog marched out in the 70's AND why the tories were in for nearly 20 years you might need a bit of schooling or something stronger lol do me a favour pal lol

  • @theHatchett1 and do you remember 1997 - 2010 or perhaps you like me need a little schooling or perhaps something a little stronger, like a cup of tea. We will have to diifer my dear Hatchett. You do however make me smile. Nice to see some one with passion. p.s thought Harriett was very good today. :-)

  • @SAMJE123456 Can you name a more destructive Chancellor than Brown? And give evidence?

  • Comment removed

  • @SAMJE123456 She wasn't a Chancellor

  • @foxychixx1985 oh yes she was. she was pm, chancellor, home secretary, foreign secretary, defence secretary, health secretary, education secretary (thatcher the milk snatcher) wasn't she also the queen. No sorry i stand corrected she thought she was the queen! :-(

  • @flappinfanny If you were faced with what we had in 1979 (35% income tax and 82% top-level tax), what would you have done differently?

  • Comment removed

  • @foxychixx1985 everything. i wouldn't have sold the family silver. shameful. :-((

  • @flappinfanny Please stop whinging about Thatcher. She was re-elected 3 times, thus did better than Brown who wasn't even elected at all.

Stop operating under the 19th century stereotype "Tories hate poor people" because it's outdated.Michael Gove, Will Hague, Eric Pickles all went to state comprehensives. The Tory party is not the sole preserve of the rich.

  • @mightywindmill102 you are quite right dear Margaret was elected by the British people 3 times and was then ceremonially dumped by her own party. Gordon has never been elected by the British people, well to be precise middle England. If left to the Welsh or the Scots we may have had a different ending. I do not think the Tories hate people, hate is so strong a word. My main problem with the Tory party is they don't care about people. Where did David & George go to school, the local comp??

  • @flappinfanny Again, where is your evidence that they do not care about ordinary people? And I am not talking about Thatcher, I am talking about today, 2010. Dispel any outdated stereotypes you may have held from Tory Governments and their actions in the 1800's. If you are bitter about Brown not being voted in by the majority of people in Britain, I am afraid that is too bad. The majority voted, the United Kingdom is made up of all 4 constituent parts, and Brown lost fair and square.

  • @mightywindmill102 you are correct Gordon did lose fair and square, but i was pointing out that in one part of our kingdom there is only 1 tory mp! Also there was not a majority hence the love in between Davey and Cleggy. Evidence that the tories don't care, Osbournes emergency budget, it will slow growth, raise unemployment and will hit the poorest hardest, vat to 20%, benefits to be cut and slashed. But goods news for business and the banks, the tories will cut taxes on bussiness profits.

  • true, true

  • Blair actually did this. But Gordon just failed epicly at clearing it up!

  • why oh why are middle England so completely and utterly stupid. The Scots have got the right idea. Keep the Tories out. We are now stuck with grandson of Thatcher and a two faced snake in the grass Liberal who would swap his granny for a taste of power. If you think things are bad you ain't see nothin yet. I for one will miss Gordon as our PM.

  • @bigmember123 For once someone has some sense in them!

  • @bigmember123 Admit it...you just like fat old men. It's quite pathetic to see how many males have a man-crush on Brown. Was it his quivering bottom lip that turned you on or the glint in his false eye...or just his fat belly? Please answer me.

  • @animal33213 well i don't mind gordon having a fat belly or a false eye, his bottom quivering lip does do it for me. But it was more to do with him being a decent human being and what he stands for. animal33213 your not a curtain twitchin Daily Mail reader are you? Or perhaps your a cam boy, with the blue rinse brigade. I'd much rather be a fat bellied, false eye, bottom quivering lip follower any day!!!!

  • @dubmywub Well your clearly a pompus selfish tory cunt! End of

  • @ashitfritter i glad you think so.

  • Whats the difference between brown and mr bean?

    Brown has 3 different characters

  • Shenanigans!! Shenanigans!! Shenanigans!!

  • TORY = HUNG :(

Tory has no mandate in Scotland at all and even in Northern Ireland therefore cameron has no majority mandate to govern as a whole. It's unfair for the two countries to be governed by the Tory who won only seats in England.

Labour and Liberal Coalition at least have shared almost similar moral values, principles and policies.

  • it will come to a day when the whole of britain will be in HUGE debt because of the labour or conservative parties. Oh wait, we're already there. Well now, the next thing those parties want to do is get britain bankrupt and completley atheist!

well done conservatives, you want to take away everything we ever had and ever will have

  • @Passionatewriter What the the hell are you banging on about The Huge debt is already there The Labour party are the one to thank for that they have been in power now for 13 yrs and wont leave squatting in no 10 I say turn of the power and kick that useless Bastard out on his arse

  • @aussieskiff seriously? you're going with the labour party?

they've been in power for 13 years to do so much stuff... do you want the list?

    1. to get us in recession, 2. reduce prison time 3. increase tax amounts 4. get more people unemployed, 5. reduce money being paid to employees...

and I really am glad they were second because if they were first this country would have been a really REALLY bad place.

    britain just lost it's great.

  • @Passionofawriter -Conservative- 600,000 Public Sector Employments expected to be out of the job 40% Spending Cut 17.5% > 20% VAT Cancel Repairs and Restructure of Schools that was to be expected Reduce Police in the streets Increase Criminals on the streets by setting them free if its a "minor offence" Freeze Public Employee Pay 3 years+ face it, both party are in the shitter but labour is the lesser of the evils, Labour - Grow out of the deficit Conservatives - CUT out of deficit
  • @JW69Stryker you should work for the labour party, if you already don't.............are we not forgetting that it was Mr Brown that created the £180 billion debt we have?

Was it not he that scrapped the dividend credit on pensions schemes, was it not he who gave up the golden share allowing foreign ownership of utility companies?

Con/Libs did not create this mess, it was LABOUR.

  • @markyboy1704

£180b debt came from a GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS, not by 1 IDIOT, ALL Countries except for a few, and China manage Not to run into a deficit during the downturn, so stop pointing the blame when clearly that isnt the issue, the issue is now we face the problem of Conservative economic downsize to rid debt, instead of Labour Growth policies.

sidenote, have you heard that the Convervatives are going to eliminate speed-camera's? even though its a bad thing, i personally find it good

  • @JW69Stryker Oh, just to point out, because you obviously don't understand, the £180 billion debt is not the bank debt, that pushes us to approx £780 billion.

The £180 billion is browns debt alone. It does not include PFI debt which Labour opposed under the Tories then used it en mass to build schools & hospitals, total PFI DEBT OVER THE NEXT 50 YEARS BECAUSE OF BROWN £1 TRILLION.

    Not rocket science is it.

Debt has to be reduced otherwise we pay more to the city for borrowing.

  • @JW69Stryker The '07 recession has absolutely nothing to do with net public debt! That is down to Labour being inefficient and irresponsible with public spending, creating a huge deficit!

Tony Blair came into power in 97, the most marked increased in public debt was 98 and it just went up and up and up till the present. Why is it that money wasn't allocated to R&D initiatives (something that in the long run generates HUGE employment and income), because long run doesn't get votes! Irresponsible

  • @Passionofawriter Have a look at the national debt, Labour increase it, Tories reduce it.

  • @pimpUK1 true. Yeah im sorry, I kinda said the wrong thing... hehe :S

  • Don't vote conservative

  • Torys align with peace process scuppering Unionists in N Ireland + Nazi bigots in EC. To HELL with them!

  • And how would the Tories devise putting those criminal back inside if they plan massive cutbacks. Building new prisons cost money, their emergency deficit cutting budget will not allow the building of new prisons.

  • Vote Conservative

  • Meaning more elderly people driving leading to potential for more accidents and not very economical. Also meaning the elderly can not get out so freely making them become lonely and excluded. is this how you want to treat our elderly because i certainly don't

No more free tv licenses for the elderly - so can not get out more freely but they also have nothing to do being stuck indoors

  • Unemployment Rate %:

    USA 9.4, France 8.9, Germany 7.7, Italy 6.9, UK 6.9, Japan 4.8.

Gross Public Debt % of GDP:

    Japan 170.4, Italy 103.7, France 67, Germany 62.6, USA 60.8 UK 53.2.

Tories scaremongering about the UK deficit and liking us to Greece is a cynical ploy to get their hands on power to aid the rich. Vote Labour to guide our country to prosperity for the many not just the wealthy few.

  • Labour is the party of substance with a plan to encourage growth and eliminate poverty, giving incentive to work. Peace to Northern Ireland, guided the UK through the worst worldwide downturn for over 70 years, improved living. The longest period of growth and stability ever. Invested in our people and country with new hospitals, schools, regeneration of many towncentres unlike the tories who ran this country to the ground. Squalid mess they left after 18 years of underinvestment. Vote Labour

  • The Conservatives.. yes vote for the party .. that ha no policies that can keep up with labour so have to resort to verbally abusing the opponents.. when you have to stab the opponent in the back to win.. it says volumes about yourself and your Party .

  • @Downbutnotout1000

sorry what's Labour's new policy? Tactical Voting...oh my dear God...how desperate have they become. They know they are despised and will now resort to begging for votes and telling people how to vote..how low will they go?

Well, considering LABOURS LIES in their leaflets to the elderly and the fact that they intimated people will die of cancer if they don't vote Labour..SICK!!, i hope Labour can't go much lower but you never know with Brown and Balls

  • @steps1

They are not saying people will die of cancer if they don't vote Labour. Are you really that stupid? Labour policy that guarantees patients to see a cancer specialist within 2 weeks is actually what they are say you will get with Labour. And hunny where has you seen these leaftets with all these lies?? Labour are performing a word of mouth campaign? poor thick little rich kid. Lying to the elderly is Cameron's job he will take away free bus passes and Tv licenses for them.

  • @stefanilovesyou

it's LABOUR LIES...they are so desperate that they have resorted to scaring the elderly.

Poor thick little rich kid? I'm neither rich nor thick nor am I a child..but it's typical Labour (how have the Bankers done these past years under Labour by the way?) to think that only the rich vote Tory..very sad..very depressing

  • @steps1 When the Tories cut public spending unemployment will go up as will the rich/poor gap. It is very hypocritical for conservatives to mention the rich poor gap when they want an aggressive deficit reduction public spending cuts. Expect no change with the conservatives, just more of the same thing.

  • @jkc0808

what are Labour for if not to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor? that was a real slap in the face of their supporters after 13 years.

They will be LABOUR cuts..whoever wins will have to do this because Labour have left us in such a horrific mess which they seem to do at the end of every Labour Govt

  • @steps1 Of course it's always our fault, never theirs. They expect our trust, question is, when are they going to start trusting us instead of giving us authoritarian Tory/Labour governments.

  • @steps1 So it's the bankers Labour party backed by the bankers or the bankers Conservative party backed by the bankers, wow what a choice we have, no wonder we're headin g for a hung parliament and vote turnout is only 50-60 %. No doubt both parties will blame the electorate for not bothering to vote or patronize us for voting for the policy-lite 'none of the above party', (Lib.Dems).

  • @steps1 Both Labour and Tories lie. Shocker!!!

  • Shows how shallow Conservatives are. I actually want to vote Labour now!

  • @TheScriptTV

    Labour Troll Alert

  • It will soon be time to vote but you know to do the right thing. Remember, don't vote Labour

  • @FightForYourFreedom Why should I vote for any of them. Too often I hear for people that they're all the same. Such is the era of no-politics.

  • @jkc0808 Well it's up to you but remember, no vote no voice. Don't complain though. Vote UKIP if you don't want to vote conservatives, just don't vote Labour.

  • @FightForYourFreedom when you are worse off next year and you are paying 20% vat and you are out of a job i hope you will be happy with the government you have voted for. Congratulation. well done. :-(

  • Isn't it something that the Conservatives see their main way of gaining votes as slandering the unpopular Labour instead of showing their own advantages?

  • I think it is quiet hard to put the complete shame on Gordon. The point with increasing the gap between poor and rich is certainly not the fault of one man take a look around the world it happens everyday. Besides that the Tories are a party for the rich and for employers go to germany and have a look there ... the german conservative party has been in power for a long time and you can clearly see that this party is not a party for the middle class. I don't say vote labour but take care...

  • Wow, and the Brits made fun of us for reelecting George W Bush. You have found an even bigger chimp than him, and he might still be in office a week from now

  • vote 4 conservitive so u can do it worse. this is so shallow and stupid u make me even less likely 2 vote 4 u, not that i thought that that was possible.

  • the conservatives make me sick posting videos like this. This is the exact reason why politics is a corrupted world. It's NOT due to which party you belong to

  • Yes, Everyone thinks gordon is bad. GET OVER IT!!

  • How come Gordon Brown said to a woman that was a LABOUR supporter that she was bigote after inteviewing her and it went on the news, Owned much?

  • hahaha, get a grip? I'm here to state an opinion, not to get into a fucking debate :L

  • the laugh track really pisses me off

  • I love this video. Labour have been in power long enough and all they've done is ruin Great Britain.

  • @ThereForTomorrowx

Yeh right, ruined it by making Britain a more equal society than the Tories ever would, by giving pensioners far more than they would ever get under the Tories, by investing far more in education, the NHS and the police than the Tories ever would, by creating far more jobs than the Tories ever would, by stabilising the economy after years of Tory boom/bust economics.

  • @coracleman

    Pensioners...........Brown destroyed 18 million pension funds 1997

New Schools, Hospitals............courtesy of the PFI, not paid for, and not included in national debt figures.

    Jobs, currently 16 year high.

Stabilising economy, your having a laugh, biggest peacetime debt ever courtesy of Labour.

As in the 70's Labour have bankrupt the country.

  • @markyboy1704 Labour have most definitely improved the NHS and education by having to invest billions where the Tories failed to do so to save their infrastructures. Unemployment may be high but will rocket even further if the Tories win - remember what happened after 1979? And yes the economy is stable, low inflation, very low interest rates, no boom/bust. Do you really want to risk it all by having Cameron and his cronies in power?

  • @coracleman yes i remember the last Labour government, record unemployment mass strikes, record inflation, I also remember Brown selling off the all the utilities as well in 2000, I also remember Brown inheriting a £1.3 billion surplus in 97. an equal society where Labour have widened the gap between rich and poor to it's widest in 40 years.

  • @markyboy1704 I'm afraid the record unemployment came when the Tories were in power, remember the poll tax riots? The riots on the streets of Brixton and Toxteth? Both as a result of lack of opportunities for many within society under the Tories. As for selling off utilities, just remind me who sold off the electric, gas, BT, rail network? At least Labour have done something for the underpriveleged, the Tories would just let them rot.

  • @coracleman Yes I remember who sold off the utilities. Labour up its remaining golden shares in privatised utility companies, opening the way for potential foreign takeover bids across a range of industries including defence, telecoms, energy and transport. Thatcher kept the golden share to stop foreign takeovers, Labour gave this up.

The Tories dragged the UK back from bankrupcy by Labour and once again Labour have bankrupt the country.

  • @markyboy1704 The Conservatives are complicit with the PFI scheme.

  • @jkc0808 No, The policy began under the last Tory government but has dramatically expanded under Labour resulting in businesses ripping off the taxpayer.

Osborne said the Tories are now drawing up alternative models that are more transparent and deliver better value for taxpayers.

  • @markyboy1704 Exactly, PFI did began under the last Tory government. So you obviously agree that they are complicit. Supposedly they are drawing up alternative models and you naively believe them. It's either vote for the bankers Labour party or vote for the bankers Conservative party, such choice we do not have. Such is the politics of no politics, no vision, no policy, just vague promises of alternative models and 'big society' same as Blair's 'Stakeholder society' under different name.

  • Cameron has the right ideas to bring this country off its knees. Clegg's policies on the EURO and Immigration are straight out of nana's change purse and Brown is an unelected farce..the idea that he will save the country having half ruined it is just perverse.

  • This is SO against Gordon Brown! I want him to win.

  • Is it just me or is Cameron's whole regime based on the fact that Brown has done a 'bad job'?

The debates, these videos the questions asked to him - it just seems stupid that he's basing it all on the fact that he is our only alternative.

  • i lol'd at dis but making fun of the other party leader, now thats just low (but the picture is funny)

  • Gordon brown understands the current economic needs of our country much more than david cameron does. He has just failed to explain it clearly to the public. Just wait, if cameron gets in and starts cutting immediately, things are going to get ALOT worse. Look at whats happened in the republic of ireland, they have basically followed camerons policies on the economy and things have gotten MUCH WORSE. You cant cut public spending when private sector demand and investment is so low.

  • @veryskinnypuppy ERR Brown understands the current economic situation He bloody caused it he was told5 yrs ago he was spending more than he was receiving in tax STILL he carried on spending like there was no tommorow. We need to pay this 1.5 TRILLION pound asap remember the public have to service this dept so sooner the better .Yes there will be cuts so don't blame the next govt BLAME LABOUR we have had 13 yrs of miss management

  • @aussieskiff Check out the PFI debt he'll leave us with, A report from the Welsh Assembly (show the spending on the schools and hospitals. A building project with a £66 million cost will actually cost the tax payers £326 million, the interest charges over the years will make total project cost FIVE times the amount spent to build the hospital.

On this basis the £200 billion PFI debt will cost the UK £1000 billion to clear these debts!

  • @veryskinnypuppy you can't keep spending what you don't have, that means your credit rating is higher risk which means higher borrowing costs which means businesses struggle to borrow money which then slows down the economy and then we become another Greece, which incidentally we have similar a debt.

A Result of Browns broken promise.................End to Boom & Bust.
