@EWilsonLife The stew? Oh goodness, that was soo long ago, I'm not sure. Looking at it, it looks like carrots, potatoes, onions, chili and tomato paste.

Thank you alamia {:o) I like the way the colors come out better on peeled eggs, because they don't have cracks and stuff in them, but if you crack them all around and then dye they come out looking kinda like marble. If you do an image web search "unique easter eggs" you'll see a lot of interesting and easy designs you can do and you can even dye them with natural things like tea for brown and red onions for a nice purplish red. Have you seen my egg mold video? I show some dying in that one

How did you dye the egg that solid bright color?

alamia, I mixed some blue and yellow dye and put them in for a little while (with the shell off). I think I had a little more blue than I wanted that's why they're not perfect green.

They still try and sneak into the kitchen when they think i'm not looking sometimes though so I squirt em {:o) fun for me, bad for them

Yum, it all looks sooo good. You really had me laughing when you said "cause it's none of your business". I like malt o meal. But that's a great bento. You should buy an egg mold. Then you can have the egg molded into a shape then dye the egg. I have never tried it though. The egg mold...I have yet to figure out what size egg is perfect for the egg molds I have. I have so much bento stuff yet I rarely go out enough to make myself a lunch.

{:o) I looked at all three of the asian markets we have here and I didn't find an egg mold. I couldn't even find the little fish and pig shaped sause thingies. Oh well. I think I'm going to order them online. When I get them I'll try all sorts of eggs and let you know what size worked for me :) Have a good one!

There's an asian food market that I go to that's right outside base. there's usually at least one in every city. I just google my zipcode and asain grocery or asian market until I find one. lol I dyed the egg to try and add some color to the food it made eating lunch a little more interestin
