That box design and placement works very well in a trunk car. I've always had loading issues with slot ports, but the port in the middle solves that. I built this same design for 2-DC XL 10's and i gotta say it's by far the best enclosure i've had in my car. Less flex on car and louder to the ear. Thanks for posting!

god dam it dude, my fuckin preludes trunk is even smaller than a civics. my box is 3.25 net and only way i could have went bigger without hacking the car up too bad would be to lengthen it 1 or 2 inches, and even then id have to str8 hack the car up..

in usaci we go the manufacturing's 4ohm rating. so if you have a 4k amp doing 1200 at 4 ohms you can't play in 0-1000 trunk. your only allowed 2 amps an 2 batts plus stock. your seats must stay in if you unbolt them or fold them down they have to be in the vehicle when you run.

since the d5 are rated at 500 at 4 ohms you can have 2 of them, i think the d9 will work in this class too if your car isn't power hungary an can get about 5k out it if your batts are good.

oh an what i meant on power hungary is i don't know if you know this but i believe in some cars it don't take as much power to get loud than in others than again it could box design too. but its def something i would love to see tested just to see.
