  • shut up. you waste my time

  • That accent was waaaay too over the top posh haha you sounded like someone taking the piss but I could tell you were trying :) (I'm british)

  • That's a good start! Just remember Britain, like America, has many different accents. (It is also made up of several different countries, but that's another matter!).

Pick one accent, and perfect that. Your 'recieved pronunciation' seems to going well, so try that one first. I also understand that Americans find 'RP' quite attractive :-)

  • "British accent" is a commom corruption of "British English" (as apposed to American English). Simple as that.

  • The term British accent does exist, If u dont believe it is, ask a linguist, that term is actually used in linguistics. UK is formed by 4 countries not 3, Uk is *England*, Scotland, Wales (Great Britain) and Northern Ireland, that's why it is called, UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

And girl, u sound great but still some things must be improved, like trying not to talk posh. Keep on it, u're good.

  • hey you are very good :) x x

check mine out im from britain but i have done some on other british accents :)

everyone feel free to view my attempt at british accents x

  • what a nerd, you need to leave your room and go outside a bit more.

  • THIS IS SO ANNOYING:

when americans say "British accent". there's NO such thing as a "british accent".

Britain isn't even a country. its a KINGDOM (hence the UK - united kingdom of great britain and northern ireland).

There's THREE countrys in Britain: England, Scotland and Wales. Each of those countries (espeically England) has MANY different accents, which I'm sure more americans have become aware of. but PLEASE don't use the term "British accent".

  • it's the same things as when people say "American accent" and do a stupid imitation of an American accent, when in fact not all of us speak the same way and we have over dozens of different accents.

  • nice talking "fucking shit "he he he^_^ peace

  • Love it though ^^ im trying to study it too..and...AHHHHHHH i want to ram my damn head into the keyboard..-.- im going to send u a message please respond? :3

  • haha. naah...I know there are more accents than the "Harry Potter" one...it's just that I have had more exposure to the HP accent, and so I know how to mock it better. don't worry, i'm not like one of those people.

  • Also wanted to add that when Becky said Brits speak with the front of their mouth, I was SO expecting "and Americans with their arse" to follow.

  • only a few americans speak out of their ass...

most of them live in texas. :D.

    just kidding! (sorta)

  • When you said 'shit' it made me hanker for an Irish accent. "Shite" has to be my favorite UK-ism of all time. It makes me giddy...or is that just your videos being contagious? Teeeheeee!!!!!!!!!

  • ha this is cute

  • LOL i want to join that course as well :D apparently british people speak with the front of their mouth, aussies from the middle, americans from the back. eg. i THINK this is an example :P saying emma.

    British people: emA

    Aussies: EmmA

    Americans: EmmmA
