kind of shocking to watch this version after watching the original staged at La Scala last month. At the beginning of the adage, Jeanne de Brienne is supposed to kneel before Raymonda & hand her his sword, she plunges into the ground upstage, takes the laurels from his head, & places in onto the sword hilt. Jeanne de brienne is supposed to be costumed as a Knight of the 12th century crusades, rather than like a silver Super-Man.

lopatkina and korsuntsev understand eachother perfectly, and they seem to know eachothers little habits whilst dancing so well, as in the pas de deux between her and evgeny ivanchenko in giselle look akward. they are partners in a large number of ballets as the two main roles, and i LOVE it! :)

Miss Lopatkina and Mr. Korsuntsev leave me speachless dancing Petipas choreography in this section. Bravo!
