@cathiegc I couldn't resist- I said this about my drummer/bro-in-law!! hee hee So- you do let your sons use the van, on the condition they stay sober? lol They'll take care of the "brother-in law" part later if the bass player has a cute sister- trust me- I'm the bass player in my crew... that's what happened.
But- I will avenge my sister's honor... I'm teaching her son to play the accordion!
He just LOVES polka music... now, if I could just get a good deal on a tuba....
@dieselheart001 You're funny! Actually the van got totaled so he's now relegated to the trunk of a 1999 Lincoln Continental. LOL (PS - the van getting totaled wasn't his fault - someone plowed into it as it was parked on the street)
The accordion huh? My mom made me take lessons for eight weeks before she'd allow me to take piano. God only knows why. I hated it, but loved piano so I did the lessons.
Hint - check the local High Schools for used Tubas. heh heh heh :-)

A friend of mine sent this to me in an e-mail. I then found it on YouTube because it is so neat to share.
I really like the "stop time" version of Sweet Georgia Brown and Bye Bye Blues.
I've seen metronomes that couldn't keep as steady a grove as that old tractor.
