I have to say, they didn't do the sound for the Genesis well. Even though you could tell there was a wider range of sounds, some of the sound effects sound really annoying, and isn't as natural as the NES version
@Arrovs Game Genie dude. Use infinite lives until you've mastered the later levels. This game should have had infinite continues expecting anyone to sit and backtrack through 8,9,10 or 11 levels every 9 guys is BS. Every other nail your balls to the wall ungodly abomination to mankind in an 8-bit video medium without infinite continues had 5 or 6 levels tops. Even Ghosts n Goblins only has 6 (but that has infinite continues)levels.
Aye, the robots were very deadly. The sharks were more deadly in the NES version as well, or rather having them miss a swimming Toad like demonstrated in this video was basically an impossibility. The gears and rat were slightly faster in the NES as well.
i don't know how me and my brother gotten this far but we always die at THIS place where
you have to race that rat

Dang, the robots in the terra tubes level would blow you up if you tried to run past them in the NES version.

@Spoofer You just gotta be fast and wait for an opening. I've bypassed sharks in the nes one it just requires memorization and raw speed.
