Dude...Yate Loons are top notch i have them in my comp.CMs are good when included in the case bacause the aftermarket ones are noisy and dont have a decent cfm rate.Scythes are good but they are noisy too and even if you get a fan controller on the attempt of trying to reduce RPM for lower noise levels you might drastically reduce cfm which is what scythe fans are made for.Though case fan names isnt the case here.

Im talking about how good noctua fans are for putting them on hardware.Maybe on cases too but unfortunately they weren't made for airflow but silence and performance.That's probably the reason why they were made for the noctua heatsinks and generally heatsinks.

ofcourse they are silent but so poort on performance m8. i had so many overheat problems with the noctua heatsink and 2 of those fans to cool my q9650 oc'd to 3.2ghz only with AS5.Now i run it with coolermaster v10 tuniq tx3, and i added 3x yate loons onto my antec 1200 as well. ;)

seems like a big 20-25 deg drop.

noctuas are definetely really poor performers and i have tested them very well in extreme conditions.

Im saying two 5870s are better than the quadfired 4870 x2. Plus they are definitely cheaper than the 4870 x2s where last week. $380 for one 5870 and the 4870x2 where around $500. One 5870 is roughly = to one 4870 x2... in fact a little better...

Usually doesn't scale well in most games, so more often than not you get only a few frames. Others you might be lucky and get 10-15 fps.

Hopefully 2x 5870x2s will scale well :D
