Did I also mention I think they're one of the coolest animals on the planet ;D? Of course, you gotta treat them with respect and raise them very good. I would need to train for such methods(the method to teach ravens/ parrots, etc. and have it at my shoulder while walking without making it stressed or freaked out and such). One question: Are ravens in general, who are tamed, aggressive towards strangers?
I would want one on my shoulder(any shoulder) and teach them to stare at people, not letting go off their eyes, and laugh maliciously: ''He, he, he, heeee.'' Hahaha, I could see that freak people out XD. Or: ''Do not pass go! Do not collect 200 dollars!'' rofl. Hm, speaking of rofl, maybe I should teach him/her that lol. To teach the raven to sing ''Roflmao, duh-duh-duh-duh-duh, roflmao.'' while making dancing moves to the rythm XD. How fun birds can be.
Jaguar. Jaguar. OMG !!! Betty, come see this talking raven :O. What does it say? "Jaguar Jaguar" Ah.. so cute he can say a word. Hey.. did you hear that? "Jaguar jaguar" OH NO!!! A jaguar!! RUN BETTY RUN!
I just realized something....... that poem by Edgar Alan Poe, the Raven..... the raven in that story kept saying nevermore..... you know, it might have been inspired by a real story! where a raven could say 'nevermore'; ....and kept saying it to a depressed poet, depressing him even more.... cool thought!
I may be very very wrong, but I've always thought that most eastern-European countries talks almost the same language just that it's slightly too different to be called accents. It may have major differences, I don't know. But for me, as a Norwegian I can't really tell 110% the difference of the languages. :P
Anyways, these crows and ravens that talks never stop amusing me. :D
I hear, "Trouble", also. Too bad they can't all be so specific!! And if they're so psychic, can one show up on my porch to tell me if I'm gonna win big at the casino?? Haha>>>
my great grandpa had 1 he let live free range "sorry for the chicken keeper talk" and it would run around yelling help me when the smaller birds picked on it
@gathimest Not all of them, some can make high pitched sounds, but all birds do not have vocal chords likea human does so they vibrate and use their tongues to direct speech :)
I'm presuming something in Czech or possibly Russian. It's theoretically possible that it's a very old raven (ravens in the wild have an average lifespan of 10 to 15 years, though some ravens have lived as long as 40 years) and is speaking in Slovak, as Czechoslovakia only split 17 years ago. I'm gonna guess Czech, though.
