Um, so how DO you record midi data in logic? All you have done is to mumble something and then begin to record. What button do you press? Perhaps you should re-title this, 'how i recorded a midi track but i'm not telling you'. Silly bloke.

press capslock, then your cpu keyboard becomes your piano keyboard then press capslock again to return back to regular.

actually pros use logic, no one uses windows anymore unless your some wannabe in your moms basement

Or they run Pro Tools with Windows in the studio... OR Acid, or Sonar, or numerous other programs running off windows. Some people even run Fl studio...
