Was just about to join in the enviro-chastisement and saw this: "All component fragments were picked up and taken away to avoid polluting the environment." I shoulda known better. Great work.
bad hard drive + recreational shooter = a good target at the range
Great note in the vid description about cleaning up & leaving the land clear of debris. That's what a responsible shooter does whether it's his mess or someone else's. Leftover targets & spent brass just gives the anti gun people more "ammo" in their fight to rid guns in our nation.
i wiash i could do that to the whole computer that i am on but its not mine and i couldnt afford to buy them a new one........ CRASH ON ME WILL YOU!!!!!
Probably an average criminal may not even recognize the hard drive for what it is after it's been destroyed by a hail of bullets, but I'd still take a magnet to it.
Funny thing is I'm sure there are plenty of "hackers" out there that could recover a majority of that data if they wanted to. But you're safe cus none of them are the slightest bit interested in it ^o^
Where's the dragon's breath and flame thrower to finish off the job? Hehe, just messing with you my friend! Come to think of it, trap shooting with hard drive may be pretty interesting as well!
if you recoverd that data you deserve to steal my id and i wolud even be mad becaus that would take magic

I think you should start a business of "wiping" hard drives of their memory.

@Cr0cket20 Except I'd feel bad taking money to do that kind of "work". LOL.

A month. Money? Nah man it takes maybe a few hours depending on the size of the drive and is completely free. L2 linux.

It would be funny if you sent that to a data recovery lab and ask them if they could retrieve the data.
