  • you can always drill holes in your toothbrush to make up for your heavy titanium spork.

  • Realy nice review man, you did it realy well and i think im now getting the spork

    Stusf12

  • In German it's "göffel" :D

  • Lol Jeff, trust me dude the plastic one only lasted me two weeks in a not very full, lightly abused school backpack. I wouldn't trust it camping cuz when I pulled it put to use, it was a spoon head and a fork head

  • The titanium one is fire proof and will last forever. It is the last one you will ever need. That is why I use titanium, it is great stuff and will never wear out.

  • hell you giving the company 20k views on all your vids, they should send you 100 replacement spoons i mean come on..

  • my plastic one is definitely not as flexible as the one in this vid and i do'nt wanna try how much i can bend it. it's not as cheap where i am, about $5,50. not so cheap that you can break it while testing, so i hope it will hold up a while when i carry it in my bag...

  • You bent the shit out of that thing! Haha

  • Thank you very much!

I didn't laugh so much for the last two weeks! It was so natural, and so clever, particularly about rust. But, you have made your point very clearly. I'm not kidding at all! It was very useful presentation, which everyone is looking for new products. Thank you!

  • The plastic one was broken initially.

  • After a year of storage 3 of 4 lmf plastic broke became britle

  • Great video... true "reality" LoL!

Watching this made up my mind... forget about that plastic//teflon version... I'm buying the Titanium one on Ebay in the next 5 min. $12.08 no tax + free shipping.

    Thanks for the great vid!!

  • 0:31 But they have. Eating noodles or soup for two years, this thermal crack forms slowly just above the spoon part. It becomes brittle in the area below that enters the hot water. Then when you put it in your back pocket, it finally breaks. However I've been through two of them, and they have each lasted me about 2 years.

  • I HAVE A FEW PLASTIC SPORKS THEY SUX DUE TO BREAKAGE.

ANUTHR GRIPE IS HOW DO U HOLD FOOD WHILST CUTTING WITH SAME SPORK?...TITANIUM LOOKS GR8T.

  • yours is wimpy i found mine at the state police campere and it was all beaten up but it still works great so now i a titanium one and a plastic

  • i saw this in Adventure HQ dubai UAE.

  • titanium Cant rost, i know you you said that but it wont even rost in saltwater. one of the reosons that i really like the titanium spork.

  • I've seen the ones with the serrated knife edge before. My question is, how would you use it given that the knife that would hold the item to cut is attached to the knife? Is there a technique that I'm not understanding?

  • STOP BENDING IT!!!!!!

  • what a fail...i mean i really dont think its gonna break....snap

    -___-

  • pka

  • Why would you want to even try to bend, twist or break the spork. Weirdo

  • TITANIUM SPORKS \o/

  • eeehh that one died good review

  • i wonder if there may be a composite plastic one in the future.

  • You killed the spork!!!!

  • i just tryed in the store and i felt it right the titanium was even more ligh weight then the plastic one

  • @scooterss2112 if your caught unaware youll use your fingers, but this is a gear review, GEAR is important to peopel who adventiure they watch videos like this and prepare so they dont have to eat with their fingers, this isnt for the common person...

  • @scooterss2112 he's a shill for county comm, kickbacks you know

  • I think it would be neat to have one that you can use that middle part as a striker or made out of that rod material to start a fire.

  • isn't it kinda dangerous to put a titanum fork with a knife on it in your mouth?

  • @Deniot92 nat it aint really that sharp

  • That was a cool review. I suppose the blue plastic spork was simply an unlucky item.

BTW: A titanium spork is a safe item, because one could not hijack an airplane with it. Why, you might ask. Because, as Captain Obvious says, it is metal and the metal detectors in the airport beep before the hijacker has any opportunity to carry his weapon in the airplane. But, on the other hand: What if a terrorist cell purchases those plastic sporks? They may threaten your life!

    Titanium is your friend.

  • @Fuligula wtf?

  • 42: ironic huh? and also, with the titanium one, it wont melt like the other one if it touches your pan

  • 42: ironic huh? lol nice vid.

  • Mine was defeated by a pancake. (Went to cut it and it broke off in my hand using minimal pressure) I won't buy anymore and I don't recommend them. Video response coming....

  • I've had about half a dozen plastic sporks which al broke. All of them snapped in the middle between the spoon and the fork. Now I got myself a titanium one.

  • two words i thought id never here together in a sentence........ Titanium and spork

  • How do you fork and knife at the same time? :)

  • @Morning1217 most people that own a spork never really go anywhere without some sort of real knife or multitool :-)

  • @Morning1217 Turn it around?

  • @grimreap93

I was implying that someone would already have metal utensils....

  • @TaskMasterTech Sure you was. otherwise you would have said so , right?hahaha

  • lol it hard to break snap lol

  • Why the hell do you need a 12 dollar spork?

  • @TaskMasterTech to wash and use over and over rather than buying a shit load of plastic sporks forks knives spoons and throwing them in a land fill

  • The plastic ones break all the time

  • bendy bendy bendy bendy bendy bendy snap... o shi

  • I'm sorry for the loss of the plastic one, but man i just about laughed my butt off when that happend.

  • Combien ca Coup au la Titanium Spork si vous plait how much does it cost. I have a set of Three Utensils that Link together in Steel ,Knife Spoon and a Fork and it did not cost much about €10 Euro. I do not like Plastic or Aluminum but the Plastic Spork is acceptable if nothing else.

  • How much did you pay for that ti spork?I thought of buying one but in Finland the regular costs about 2 Euro and the ti something like 17 Euro! A bit too big difference in price when you think how durable that original is in my opinion. Thanks for your review BTW :)

  • Thanks for the (unintended) destruction test. I've used that spork with mountain house meals while hiking. Good to know it's limits.

  • im kind of sad the plasticy 1 broke =-(

  • Come on Baby, Light My Fire!

  • @ronkrisin sounds like 'The Doors' ;)

  • @the0movie0maker That's 'cause it Is ;) Haha Gotta Love 'em!

  • @ronkrisin chy ta set the night on Fiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaarrrr! *dun* de dununu da da nana na ...

  • Storing the plastic spork in my bag that gets tossed around caused it to lose a corner tooth as well. I sanded it off and tried to make it a three tooth fork but while working on it a second one snapped off. Ended up tossing it. A Ti one is on the way. I ended up not choosing the light my fire as I decided to go with a proper spork instead of the half spoon / half fork design.

  • 0:45 - LOOOOLL !!!!!!!

    this made me laugh :))))

  • It's a knife too. :3

  • Comment removed

  • Nutnfancy would take the plastic one, the titanium version is too heavy...

  • haha #FAIL

  • This video made me laugh so hard lmao

  • HA, that made my evening

  • #LOL

  • LOL

  • 0:28 tooth next to knife already bent like hell

  • omg lol

  • instead of buying the metal spork for $8 i just made one out of a stainless steel spoon and a dremel and made one so it was cheaper so you might want to try it. p.s. i used a rubber mallet to flatten the bend from the handle to the spoon part

  • .#Awsome!

  • Comment removed

  • #OMG #LOL #CUTE I JUST FIGUREOUT HOW TO ORANGE HIGHLIGHT SO IM USEING IT AS MUCH AS POSSILE

  • spork #FAIL

  • spork 3FAIL

  • Use it to eat something.

  • Notice that both forks are for right handed people as the knife edge on that side

  • I dont think these things are gonna break, to be honest...

i mean, You can see how flexible it is- it twists and turns and... Oh shee- sure.

    LOL

The titanium have another huge advantage - you can use it not only for eating, but also for cooking. In other words - you won't have molten plastic bits in your food.

about the knife - i think it's completely useless, better not to have one at all.

  • @kidi1232 another advantage, is the rough texture can be used to create spARKS.

  • thanks for your time....

  • FAIL!!!

  • :40 FAIL

  • i'm sorry jeff. I can't help but laugh at this video. I can just imagine if i was in your shoes and i was shooting a video and that happened to me. I would almost guarantee that i woulda been like "OH SHIT....ffs.."

  • Sorry about your trusty old spork, but just curious, is there much of a weight difference? I would assume that there isn't since titanium is so light, but I don't like to assume.

  • You talk as if the bending teeth is a good thing. It's still useless after being bent. The titanium model is obviously better.

  • i have a million of these things and i can never find them when i go backpacking

  • lol sad spork

  • now all you have is a spoon

  • oops @ 0:41 LOL cool utensil

  • Bending of the plastic spork can be considered a functional failure, not a benefit. The titianiun spork is a go.

  • I personally do not like this style of spork. I prefer them seperate. Of course I naturally make a mess out of everything. Good video though. Thumbs up!

  • #FAIL

  • hahahahaha fail

  • RIP Plastic Spork, your sacrifice aided our learning

  • @MrPureRandomness The plastic Spork is still preferred by the armed forces, at least the British armed forces anyway.

  • One thing is clear, it's your money that buys what you are reviewing and you do not enjoy breaking things, RIP plastic spork.

  • Hahahaha a revew on a fork

  • The whole tone of this video darkened when the older one broke :p You were so up and into it and then... Defeated :( HaHa hope you aren't too bummed, especially since it kind of slaped your "it's not like this one is going to be weak" attitude in the face!

  • aww were you disappointed when you broke your plastic one?? I would be lol

  • lol at a paart of the video for captions it said "you're forgetting rusting Kennedy about that just a dozen ross like a road"

  • Hah this closed captioning is funny, first said telekom then capetown instead of countycomm. Also said bush instead of bunch.

  • "i mean, you can see how flexible it is, it twists and turns and *snap* oh shhhhh..." hahah, nice jeff. you videos are always awesome.

  • i really don't think this one is going to break, I mean...uhehahuhehah...-Haha!

  • You did the that bend on the plastic spork, look at 0:23

  • You should do a series called "WIll It Bend?" which would be a nice parody of "Will It Blend?" :)

  • Lol "as you can see it's very good at bending and it's not gunna snap (snap) oh". . . Unlucky mate :P

  • no to be a snob but in the future you dont say bendable the word is malleable

  • @bigmike00831

Actually, what he was doing, was bending it. He used the right word, bendable.

malleable is easily shaped or formed:

bendable is to force from a straight form into a curved or angular one.

  • mine broke in half during a backpacking trip. bummer i now use a snow peak titanium spork

  • did you ever review the kabar hobo, i like it a knife, spoon, and fork in one

  • Spork Destroyer, lay off the steroids. LOL

  • The first step to breaking something durable is saying it's unbreakable, or abusing it in front of an audience. Jeff thanks for damaging your gear for our amusement. :-)

  • FAIL

  • i have an orange plastic one and i love it!

  • how do you bend titanium is my only question isnt it hard to melt much less bend i know it can crack since ive got a race bike made of titanium but its only been wrecked once and it didnt even budge

  • @rocksock00444

Titanium's strong, but when it's thin, it's still bendable.... Titanium usually equals the strength of steel and steel, when that thin, is very bendable.

The main advantages to titanium are, it's very corrosion resistant and much lighter than steel. It also has a higher melting point and it's very durable.... still bendable.

  • i seriously thought u were about to say shit

  • lol.. aw man you obliterated your spork.

  • i always get a weird excitement when you get your jewlers loop. i think you should you use it more for when your using details or trying to describe something. You can see smaller details but can we?

  • '' you could see how flexible it is , i mean it twists and turns and ... (crack) ... ouu shhh... " :D :D :D

  • It was already partly broken

  • nice camping accessories.

  • that sucks.. way to save the accident and turn it around though

  • 0:41 made my summer... LOL

  • Broken spork, awesome. very very cool video im glad you caught it on camera.

I haev a LMF but i have the Tit Snow Peak one as well as a stainless foldable option. I love sporks I edc one and i think that the LMF is on the lower end of the spork quality list but its very nice in the hand.

  • way to work that spork over, I know you didn't mean to break it, but it was good to see you bend it. I've always preferred titanium over the copolyester version.

  • Are you working for countycomm!? The last few videos are all about countycomm...

  • haha! it was so funny when it broke lol!

  • I've looked at these but cant see the point of having knife and fork on same implement. How you gonna hold your meat while you carve at it with the knife bit? With your foot??

  • I always found using a metal fork more comfortable. This is to the point that whenever I bring home take out food I have to grab a real fork from the kitchen. lol

  • 0:29 shows it was already broken

(doesn't look to be natural brake...)

  • @Prowler1 Well spotted.

  • Where did you get your magnifying glass, it looks really nice.

  • you could use the titanium one as a digging immplament.

  • HAHAHAHA fail,anyway nice clip :D

  • epick fail

  • @TwilightForestKiler wow......you spelled epic wrong......*fail

  • isnt the plastic cheaper? any way I like the plastic one better manliy becase it went with me on my first camping trip

  • Good lord that reminds me of the part in aladdin.

"Will not break! Will not... it broke."

  • your like oh shi... oot

  • lol guess it's not that strong

  • R.I.P. blue Spork. :-( We will miss you. At least your viewers have now the advantage of knowing how much abuse a Spork can take, so thank you very much for that. Sergeant Blue Spork didn't die for nothing, no he didn't.

  • I had one snap in the middle I think from mixing hot stuff it got used every day for about a month

  • ooooh shhhhhi hehehe

  • i don't like to eat with som thing flaxible specialy with flaxible spork bekose teaths wase bend against the gard pises of meet for example i think som metal ar te better!

  • lolol

would never have guessed he'd do a utensil review

  • Titanium would not bend like that.. it must be some kind of alloy. You would not be able to bend pure titanium that thick with your hands, and if you ever managed to bend it slightly it would snap.

  • i love the lmf spork, I had my first one break, last week, mixing muffin matter.

  • only thing i dont like about these, its the knife, cause if im cutting meat, i need a fork in it, and then i cant use my knife, so i carry this, and then i just use my knife. but overall they are handy, just throw in the bag, and you good.

  • great review!!!!!!!i like metal better then what ever it is. lol lol i still carry my real fork and spoon when i go backpacking! call me old fashion i don;t really care for the little more weight. i have too say that this is the best review that you have made!!!!!!!

  • rofl

  • click ... wtf

  • LMFAO that you for showing that those can break and showing it on video!

  • I appreciate that you kept it real, dude. Don't worry about the teeth bending on your TI spork as it would also happen if it was made of steel. Looks really good.

  • silverwarelover.... what the fuck

  • too funny

  • Does the titanium one give off any metallic tastes?

  • hahahahaha when the plastic fork, it had a bent tooth and i thought to myself that it was gonna break and it DID!!!

  • "I don't think these things are gonna really break.... ...oh sh..."

    Classic.

  • Hey Cutlerylover if you check right at 0:28 you can see it was already broken.

  • Thumbs Up and some Money Love my Friend!!

  • That must be some kind of titanium alloy or it wouldn't have bent. It would have simply broken. That tells me that they are selling something under what I would consider false pretenses. I probably wouldn't waste my time buying either since the quality isn't there.

  • idk, i bite pretty hard, so that plastic one might not do the trick.

  • on 0:29 you can see something weird about his plastic spork..wonder why....

  • ha...haha...ha it broke =] nice

  • that break was frigin classic

  • Sorry about your spork, Nutnfancy would say its just a datapoint in the Project. You have to admit that...

  • bending phail.

  • shi........ HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH made my day.... thanks for the video, looking forward to some more, keep em rollin lol.

  • lol durable plastic spork

  • the blue one is a sporkfife or sporkafife
