Is the god of Muslims the same as that of Jews and Christians?
As far as I understand from the Koran and Sunnah, the answer is yes.
So if the god is identical, why is the question of the status of a messenger important - especially since the Koran says all messengers are equal? (2:136, 2:285, 3:84, 4:152)
A marriage between a Muslim woman and a Christian man should pose no problem as it is a question of mere interpretation of a book.
The same should apply to a Muslim praying in a synagogue.
