  • "A little less coffee here, a little less water, but same amount of coffee."

    Heh.

  • Exelent Heather Congratulations

  • Who heats the milk first?

  • I can spot a girl who like the brothers right away. Go for it ma nigga!

  • she makes this machine look better then it actually is..

  • texturising the milk is when you place the wand tip under the surface of the milk when steaming. What you called texturising is actually tapping and swirling, to achieve a "wet paint" finish.

  • As a beginner playing with a Christmas present, the video was more helpful than the instruction book. Thanks

  • more like a breville but head

  • I bought the 800esxl again and this time I got a defect free machine. Seriously, I had to return the first two machines because they had problems like leaking all over the counter on the first shot and a dribbling steamless steam wand. The second machine vibrated like crazy so much that the water reservoir wouldn't stay put but kept creeping out of its nook.

I tried about 5 different espresso machines after that and none of them game me the great shots like the Breville 800.

  • I love coffee. The coffee is hot, your hot and the machine is hot and am getting hot just by watching you hot lady. The entire Video I was just looking at you so I had to watch it again, but I couldn't. Everytime I decide to follow what you said I find myself looking somwhere. Let me try again ;-)

  • you just let your shot die before you poured the milk. good job expert

  • Just a note about the pitcher in this video. The Breville 800esxl comes with a frothing pitcher but NOT like the latte art kind with the pointy pour spout that this lady uses. It comes with a pitcher that has a flanged edge without a pointy spout that is required to direct the flow of the foam to create a heart or other latte art-work as seen in other youtube vids. The Breville ESP8XL, however, comes with an 8 ounce pitcher similiar to the one in this vid plus a set of cups and saucers.

  • YOUR SUPPOSED TO TAMP IT!(PACK IT)

  • I owned this machine for a week then returned it. (The steam wand dripped water like a teething baby) I got good crema ONLY when I gave it a light tamp & without a polishing twist. The dual wall filter that pressurizes the extracted liquid into crema bogs hates a heavy tamp. The pf is always filled with a liquid mess after extraction. The brains in Breville's marketing dept. turned it into a 'feature.' My old Mr. Coffee emcp50 finished with a dry puck & made better tasting espresso. Go figure.

  • I get a good froth but my milk isnt warm enough?!?! Any tips?

  • get yourself a thermometer, and stop steaming the milk on 55-65°C ...more than that you just burn the milk....that solved my very same problem

  • "As you can see, a beautiful golden crema..."

Haha. Lady, you didn't even tip the cup far enough for us to see the crema.

    2:04

  • this retard didnt even pack her coffee into the filter like your suppose too...amateur

  • You do realize she's a two-time barista champion right? She's selling the product.

  • What's her name?

  • Heather Perry i assume. It is in the Tags in the description.

  • Uh, the video was edited. It stopped at 1:40 and started again when she placed the PF in the head. Are you really that slow? it was time compressed.

  • I love the "milk steaming" part.... haha.... just let the milk steam by itself. What a bunch of baloney.

  • But you have to admit that compared to the amount of "technique" involved in the process, the results are, let's say, unexpected.
