I agree i also think it was 1 of the best sci fi alien movies i ever saw. Loved the movie format the way it looped the story/and the news scene and having the experts and family members being interviewed was different

District 9 is one of my favorite movies, with Blomkamp and Sharlto some of the most talented people in filmaking today. And now this, is my most anticipated film EVER, and it is coming out on my birthday!

It kind of seems that Neill Blomkamp is taking the same approach as Christopher Nolan. He's not make a sequel to a film that he did until like 2 or 3 years later.Nolan did "Batman Begins" then "The Prestige", next he did "The Dark Knight" then "Inception".

Neill knows what he is doing as filmmaker and I can say that his next film "Elysium" will be without a doubt, spectacular. He's a filmmaker to be reckon with.

District 9 is amazing and Im expecting Elysium to be great. Neil Bloomkamp just seems to know what he is doing, and Sharlto Copley is a good actor, so I see this film being a good one.

sounds good but to be honest im nervous. D9 was great partly because it didnt have as much hype compared to this current project. expectations have multiplied for this director and in the past 10 years many films that were heavily hyped have bombed severely. i hope history doesnt repeat itself here.
