  • Our government is to be blamed. It is corrupted and mundane. I am frustrated. Who are the victims? The poor and the needy who number in millions and millions. The little lands left are confiscated by the local governments for their business partners. There are now no jobs and the government is not doing anything to help the poor. The rich will make profit from the bail out money. It is time that we the ordinary citizens should have a voice in how the government makes the decision and who runs it

  • Gosh...i wish i can go there and give them a help and to dig out all the victims. I am so so sorry for you mama's, papa's and babies that you lose your love one. I love you all and be strong. You still need to continue your precious life and take care for those who need your love and help.

  • i know right i would literally physcally help those people if i could but i heard people werent allowed to help like only soliders and stuff like that. some people only died because they were burried for days the first few days they were still alive , so sad

  • Gosh it's just so horrile and so unbelievable, I wish i could b there to help dig out people from under the ruble or help those who r injured, it's just so devastating, I want to cry, heck i am crying. We need to help them in any way possible, we would want the same if it happened to us, would we not?

  • Let's help them, ppl!!! Think about one day you may also in danger...God bless all world citizens!!! Peace!!!

  • 中国死去的4万人灵魂将会诅咒你

  • The ghosts of the earthquake victims will come get you, when you least expected....

  • 混蛋,畜生

  • it's a credit to see the CCP become more responsive to people (i wonder if this is because of the Olympics), but after this crisis, there're tough questions need to be answered by the gov., after the Tangshan earthquake, it's not acceptable the death toll is still this high, it's true no building can stand the quake of 7.6, but at least it should be able to hold long enough for people to escape, and those dams before they built them have they taking environmental factors into consideration ?

  • It's not good.

    Really sorry to see this.

  • The ghosts of the earthquake victims will come get you, when you least expected....

  • 'nature(the truth)'

  • The cost of natures wrath? No it the cost of building cheaply without any building standards!

  • well it's true to a certain extent.....

but no cities in this world that are well-prepared for any disasters.....

    For instance....

Great Hanshin earthquake in Kobe(one of the 17 designated cities in Japan) hit by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake and left 5000++ dead.....

You may say the death toll is significantly lower but the earthquake in Chengdu lasted for 3minutes++ where as in Kobe.....it only lasted about 20 seconds

  • the scenery rules :O!

  • that f***'ed up the infrastruction of the earth quake epicenter aperantly.. hopefully that wont mess with the tourism aspect of the olympics games of 2008 all that aside forget the olympics help the people
