again shimmer dress taken to an alteration shop have the turtle neck removed and added a neck line, hair up do,right shoes and jewelry and would be better. I would say silver statment peices like maybe a black onyx and silver. maybe add a patent black skinny belt to dress to make curves and due to her height to make her appear taller since its nyc and its a night dress i would have added black tights and heels. if she didnt want black then a nude color shoe platform heel to make legs look long
the black and white sweater looked really really bulky on her shoulders and everything...and you should have found some pieces that accentuated her frame more, maybe some tight things at the waist to give her some curves.
Polka dot dress! The other ones were nice but made her look really short, while the polka dot one made her look more petite than short. I love your channel. It really inspires me to dress the way I want, and not the way people want.
Great video! Loved all three of the pieces but I definitely was feeling that sweater on her a lot, especially as it gets colder in the city. It was one of those things that looked like it belonged on her as soon as she had it on!
Also, I really loved your outfit! Everything about it looked simply amazing! ~Emi <3
@AntiKristTeddyBear hey sweets! thanks for such a nice comment! I LOVED the sweater but someone brought up a good point it may have been too big for her petite frame! However she chose the best piece -- GLITTER! ;-) xoxo
@sammydavisvintage hi sammy, nothing against you personally. Just thought the pieces weren't really suited for her small frame. She's quite short and the pieces made her look shorter and stubby, esp. the white coat
@TheChristineVan Thank you for this question! Technically, vintage clothing is anything at LEAST 20 years old. So anything prior to about 1990 is vintage! Some people consider the '90s vintage -- especially if it was a style that is no longer "on trend" now!
Hated them all on her. Audrey had such a cute, petite, athletic frame. Sammy should have chosen a dress that would have given her some curves. Those dresses did nothing for her body, in fact they made her look like a ten year old.
@vmontgomery80 I have to agree with you.....out of all those clothes and she picked the ugliest (least complimentary) on her....but oh well what do I know....lol
@maggers2580 I had a thing for that dress too ... especially because I think she wasn't that into it at first! but on it looked so much better than just on the hanger!
@sammydavisvintage i think you could pull off either way! You have a great face shape ( trying not to be awkward) haha.. i think that you rock the short hair so well, have you ever had long hair?
Hi, Sammy, I like the red velvet dress. She really looked good in it. The rainbow glitter dress was too cute. I think she went with the navy polk-a-dot dress. I understand she has to easy into the vintage look. You look fab as always, Sammy!!!!!

TheChristineVan 3 months ago
@TheChristineVan the way I understand it is that true vintage is anything 20-50 years old or more :-)
fivejsmakesus5 3 months ago
@fivejsmakesus5 yes! you hit the nail on the head. if it's 100 years old, its antique ;-)

polka dot dress!
Grungirl 3 months ago
To be honest, I thought the first two looked the best on her : )
The scarlet dress was gorgeous on her, and with black pumps and a black thin belt she could really carry it off
And the white coat looked fabulous on her! It could be thrown on a dress or even on a casual outfit like shown..
The polka dot dress was too childish in my opinion :S But the sweater was tolerable-- although if dressed properly could look quite good :]
Loving your videos as always Sammy :]
