This march was beautiful and awe inspiring. These people really desire American citizenship and we should be compassionate and provide them a path towards participation in US society. Protesting and peaceful demonstrations such as this one, which I attended, are the AMERICAN way and a product of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Racism is NOT caused by people marching, but by individuals who are raised in racist families and environments. The problem of racism is not the fault of peaceful protests, but of uneducated bigots that will hate people irrespective if they march or not.
