  • Actually, my husband got a good cleaner...Brass O, I think. I used that then polished with WD40, worked like a charm. However, I wasn't keen on the smell of the chemicals. We got ours gently used from a neighbor and since I have no idea what they were using on it I thought a good cleaning that would strip away any residues starting w/bare surface would do some good. I would much rather use chemical free product due to kids and pets. Next time, viniger for sure! On to grout cleaning today!

  • @Nikkigirl2820 Yeah, I've heard about Brass-o but never tried it (I've found enough ways around it). Have fun cleaning grout!! MM

  • Melissa, thanks!! I will definitely let you know, going to try it out today. All of your cleaning tips seem to work, so I'm sure this one will as well:) Love your channel, I am a bit of a neat freak and these will come in very handy. I only wish I had found your channel sooner!

  • @Nikkigirl2820 Thanks so much - that's what keeps us going! Do let me know how the vinegar works. I have fabulous results when I do it! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

  • Thank you for the tips!! The problem I'm having is there are water marks dripped down from where the water dispenser is (I have small children) I can get the rest of the fridge spotless (I've been using WD40, main ingredient fish oil) but these water marks won't go away!! Any suggestions?

  • @Nikkigirl2820 Yes - what a pesky issue! The key here is to remove every product from the surface i.e. oils (so clean surface first). Then, use a cloth with a drop of white vinegar and gently buff out the water marks. Test this in an inconspicuous area first as it stains SOME SS appliances and not others (doesn't stain mine). Vinegar should get rid of any water marks, let me know if it works for you!

  • Melissa, you are pretty damn....pretty. :)

  • i used those hard sponges before i saw this video...........now my fridge is scratched

  • @MrMEApollo There is a stainless steel repair kit that 3M makes, you can investigate that and see if you can repair the scratches. I'm glad you know the proper way to do it now and prevent any future scratching.

  • @cleanmyspace ya i cleaned my fridge using this method, thanks for the help
