I agree. It should be like a REQUIREMNT to have 4 Llanowar Elves in an elf deck. Espeshally since you have a bunch of elf boosters and they are low cost. Great deck otherwise!

In my elf deck I run 4 Heedless Ones, 4 Jagged-Scar Archers, and 4 Elvish Promenade. Granted, my elf deck runs for more damage than life gain, since I have 2 Mountains, and 2 Blazes, but you should add more power, because I am able to gain massive life, and then blaze you for lethal at around turn 5 or 6. Not trying to brag, just trying to give some advice.

I have three Wellwishers in my deck, and plenty of others that allow me to have some massive life gain..... All Elf decks can be great if you play them right and my Elf deck is the best in my collection.... well maybe my Naya deck as well with two Spearbreaker Behemoths and a Progentius=Epic.

the cards are good I think about half of em ain't tounament legal anymore but who cares the branchbender can't attack becuase the effect only says it becomes a treefolk, it dose not gain haste, also seeing how they go back to being non-creature at end of turn so that combo is essentaly useless execpt for blocking. and watch out for blue or black players black kills your no counter or blue counters stop counter card(so long as it dosent hit the feild the card may be countered unless stated)

Sorry but it looks to inconsistant. Put Heedless one, elvish champion, coat of arms, more perfects, elvish arch druid, Defiant Elf, quest for renewal, timberwatch elf, Nissa Revane, Ambush commander, silhana ledge walker, thornweald Archer, Survival of the Fittest. My elf deck runs these and many other and by turn three I can produce 8 mana and have no hand lol

Another really nasty card to put in an elf deck is elvish promenade. 3 and a g. gets you a 1/1 elf token into play for each elf you already control. Pretty useful with cards like heedless one for doubling its base power/ def. instantly. Another neat elf combo that I like a lot is using bloolinde shamen w. oracle of mul daya.

Too much one of... at least 3 Llanowar Elves and 2 or 3 Wellwishers would help things out. Ya unless you like the idea of only gaining life by poping your Eulogist when you have a few in the graveyard I'd take 1 Eulogist out and throw in another Wellwisher.

And get a few of the Elves with reach, an Elvish Guidance would be helpful, and a Drove of Elves or Heedless One would help too.

one problem with elves is burn decks eat their faces. pyroclasm and volcanic fallout give my brother's elf deck hell. Volcanic fallout is better for cards like overrun because it is an instant, lots of elves only have 1-2 toughness to begin with.

2 cards that might work for you are Lys Alana Huntmaster it costs 4 2 of any mana and 2 forests and is a 3,3 and has the ability whenever you play an elf spell put a 11 green elf token into play and also put in elvish champion it is 3 to play 1 of any color and 2 forests it is a 2,2 and has the ability all other elfs get plus 1 plus 1 and have forest walk. These are just suggestions for you

Dude this deck is flavorful, but it isn't consistent at all. You have WAY TOO MANY one-of's. You will not draw what you want, when you need it. Also Elves aren't expensive mana wise, so 20 could be too much depending. Since many elves can generate their own mana too.

Another good combo with Wellwisher is the Lorwyn card, Thousand Year Elixir. Which will let you use Wellwisher's ability the turn it comes out and will let you untap Wellwisher and do it again.

i have a pretty nice elf deck, but the circles i play in, most people have these insane infinity decks and all that jazz.

Personally, i shy away from any elves that cost more than 2 mana, and this keeps my deck insanely fast

some things that you can do to improve your deck:

get 4 llanowar elves, get a coat of arms, get 4 elvish promanade, bloodlind shaman will go good with that gilt-leaf seer, and get 4 treetop scouts to do some early damage. trust me, it adds up.

Elves rock, I have a mainly elf deck, with a mossbridge trol :P just have to have it, tap any # of creatures whose power will = 10 or more and mossbridge troll gets +20/+20(he has 5/5) So I give him 25/25, then a morphing card to flip an elf, all creatures get +3/+3 and trample, give my troll another +4/+4, tap one of my elfs he gets +x/+x for waxh elf, I have a 40-50ish/40-50ish creature with trample.

ahh i like that health trick the best it reminds me of a combo i have:

it involves a red/white deck with an enchnatment that gives all your creatures lifelink, then i get jaya ballard: task mage out and use her ability to deal 6 damage to EVERY creature AND player...so baisicly i take 6 damage and get like 42 back and if i have a glittering lion out (i think thats its name too lazy to get my deck and check) it doesnt die and i still have something to attack with

ive seen elf decks and i love playing with them, but putting the elvish branchbender makes the deck fall apart in a way

my suggestions, and this is a suggestion, put something like ambush commander which makes all your forests elves and all your elves forests, which makes your lands animated and causes your creatures become tap: put 1 {G} into your mana pool

I have a close friend who plays with one, but i dont quite know the deck card-for-card

hes an average run on my elf deck. turn one defiant elf,pass turn. Turn two priest of titania, pass turn. Turn 3 Taunting elf, elvish archers. Tap the priest for 4 mana lay skyshroud poacher. next turn its pretty much over. Once skyshroud hits the table and you can use his ability you win or your gunna be a big target. use the start of you main phase to lay maybe one elf then use the poacher. Tap the priest you should have enough to run them over. I usually get a over 10/10 with trample turn 3.

if you don't have Priests of Titania its not an elf deck. You need to look up some of the cards im going to list priests is the first. Elfs are all about big fast. You need alpha status, skyshroud poacher, ambush commander, and i dont know how you missed timberwatch elf, hes gold.

Come to think of it elvish champion and ambush commander are definitely unstoppable cards in the middle-ish game. elvish champion especially against like a green deck because all elves get +1/+1 and have forestwalk. plus ambush commander (all forests are 1/1 elves that are still forests) well then you pretty much win.
