  • william dafoe?

  • cci piace!

  • ORGASMIC!!!!

Anyone here playing their sad pissing game of who's better simply has a tiny dick. This is three GODS blowing their wads!!!

  • Sacth solo is definitely catch all the soul of this jamming song!

  • some times i am asking my self why malmsten is more popular than eric jonson john petruci paul gilbert and some others

  • 2:!8 yngwie's solo touched my soul... thx yngwie for existing!!!

  • I think it's just kind of sad, even embarrassing, how much better Satriani was at capturing the soul of the song. Vai and Malmsteen are obviously great guitarists but the second Satriani comes in my heart skipped a beat. His phrasing is just ridiculously good. The solo was even more mindblowing and had more impact since it came after the ridiculous wankfests that Vai and Malmsteen had for their solos.

  • @doufupanda True!!

  • @doufupanda True! The solo has so much more soul in it!

  • malmsteen is one of the greatest guitarist that ever lived! i dont care what anyone says!!!!!

  • this cures cancer

  • i thiough satch said 'dont listen to lil wayne' at a beginnin lol

  • would of been a good song , but; vai and the other guy nearly ruined this.

    Yngwie save this

  • Yeahhh... !!

    lml

  • 5:15

    malmsteen's leg kick is great

  • What a gods!

  • personaly i liked the satrianis solo best, idk, kinda fitted the most... about vai and malmsteen.... need i say more

  • These players aren't that good. They use special effects. They have very expensive guitars that have a special box inside them. For every note they play, the box plays about 65.

  • @whitbyjet65 Damn you.How can you say they are not good?.Btw let me explain you something: The special effect is called distortion/overdrive that can be obtained with a decent amp. This can be done with any guitar. And the box inside the guitar is just a sustainer.......and it does not play 65 notes.I dare you!Take the same equipment and do this masterpiece.YOU CANT!

  • @whitbyjet65 ... not sure if trolling or just very very stupid.

  • satriani

    malmesteen

    vai

  • lmao, it was in tune when i bought it. LOVE IT

  • son bacanessssssss !!!!!!

  • Vai just outplayed 90% of modern guitarists with one hand.

  • ah ffs too much circus! Guys srsly just stop for a sec and say to yourself "wait. Wat is it than i even play over?". Fast doesnt always mean bad. Joe managed to play kinda slow but i never feel his playing anyway. Could only be that he has a shitty tone though.

  • Yngwies sucks dick, steves is good, but can sometimes go out of context, and satches is best, no doubt.

  • Gosto muito desse som!

  • Say what you will about Malmsteen, that fill at 1:02 is beautiful.

  • this makes me nervous while SRV play always makes me relaxed. I love Vai and Satch, respect them, but this particular one is simply not cool!!

  • うわ~!!!!!なんじゃこりゃ~ああああああ!凄すぎるお3人とも!!!!!もう台風も吹っ飛ぶで、これは。Vai様~。すてきです。もうちょっとで死ぬとこやった。

  • mantap

  • Joe Satriani always slow and steady , and his guitar sounds like talking to someone everytime i listen to him. wad a awesome blues/rock guitarist...

  • Great performance,Please stop saying that yngwie is playing to much,or too fast becouse that defines him as player, that is what is part of his style :)

  • @megadeth4everrrr part?...it's the whole style...but he's awesome anyway

  • Little Wing is a sublime and subtle song , one that does not require speed to be powerful. It is one of those songs where the less you do, the more powerful it gets. Jimi got this. Stevie Ray got this. When it comes down to it, this is not a good song for G3. Satriani seemed to get it during his solo, and I think that Vai could have too, but Malmsteen never did and never will. It is not just a part of what he is as a musician.

  • Steve sempre com seu solo inovador ' rs

  • FUCK! Yngwie is so FUCKIN ANNOYING!!, why did they invite him on this tour? Satriani knows what real guitar playing is. istead of yngwie, they should get joe bonamassa, john mayer, eric johnson, or anyone who dosent ruin the fucken song with their stupid shredding.

  • @MasterclassNL John Mayer, lol comeone. That guy is overrated as heck. He never should stand next to Joe Satriani and Vai. Joe Bonamassa on the other hand....that's a wonderfull player.

  • @PhilosopherOnWeed srry man, i meant someone like john petrucci, whoevers related to their style

  • Lighten up, enjoy the fucking music...

  • @xx2n23 Actually...Michael angelo baito is the king of shred...Malmsteen is runner up. Not to say that's a bad thing though, I mean...Baito is so mother-effin beast that it's basically impossible to be better then him.

  • @IrTheBoobcat yet so many people dont even know who he is

  • I think malmsteen is just too much of the good, I mean it gets annoying quite fast.

  • everything about malmsteen is over the top but he is so sick it kind of fits his style

  • Malmsteen Is redundant

  • @a1234562489 i think i would say "a relic" rather than "redundant", but yeah -- i get your point.

to slightly mis-quote Dr Seuss: "it's fun to have fun, but know when to say 'WHEN!"

  • Floyd and 24 frets owned Malmsteen at the end..

I kill to see something like that live..Amazing

  • Amazing the depth of hatred for Malmsteen.

i guess if Satch and Vai didnt respect him they wouldnt be on stage with him.

for those of you who deem Malmsteen somehow unworthy I would suggest you haven't got the ears to understand.

    i'm glad we have variety.

  • @byronbayoceanpaddler Well said~

  • malmsteen turns a thing of beauty into a fuckfest....

  • ther are alot of malmsteen haters

  • @theritualabuse666 thats cus all malmsteen does it shred half the time. look i think malmsteen has some amazing skill, but steve vai and satriani make him look like a child cus they actually put emotion and taste into their songs. not just "ay gimme a riff so i can solo for a bit"

  • Those queery phrases at the beginning of the song are really annoying and useless. I can't listen more than 30 seconds of it, I swear!

  • @xGrinder07x you are right!

  • @xGrinder07x true i love it as well, all about eve is one of my favs where he sings :D

  • Precisely how not to play hendrix.

  • @Megatrousers wha- what? come again please? .......

  • @whatthebollocks

This is a mellow, bluesy song. Joe Satriani is the only person who even vaguely understands the concept of a good guitar solo in this... Malmsteen and Vai are just like "TAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP" and only appeal to the growing number of teens who think skill at guitar is measured by how fast one can play.

  • @Megatrousers you're partially right. but just because vai played a fast tapping solo, doesn't mean that he totally ruined the song and that he doesn't understand the concept of good soulful solos. malmsteen, he has no idea of anything

  • @whatthebollocks True. It wouldn't be fair to say that they don't know how to play guitar - They do. Malmsteen and Vai - Particularly malmsteen just don't know what good music is.

And yeah, that's a bit unfair on Vai - he does do some truly amazing solos. Unfortunately, this just isn't one of them.

  • @Megatrousers i'll just agree with so we don't have a youtube fight that wastes my time. :D

  • @Megatrousers no i think you are just too uneducated and musically to appreciate complex music. you probably dont like jazz, shred, or classical music because it goes over your head and you cont relate to or understand the wide range of melodic concepts. just learn some theory and you will appreciate this stuff. or maybe you are a schooled musician. are you?

  • @skolnick14

I'm a fucking jazz musician, asshole. Check my videos if you don't believe me. I probably know far more about music than you do. It's just that I understand music theory as a means of expressing emotions emotionally, not as a way of displaying technical skills. Music is just a way of expressing emotions, and to listen to something simply because of the skill it took to make it is to miss the purpose of music entirely.

  • @Megatrousers alright see now that I know that I completely respect your opinion. I just have to be sure whether im talking to a real musician that understands music. all im saying is that songwriting or emotion is subjective. you cant prove something is better written or has more emotion. music exists to please the listener, and since different listeners think different stuff sounds better some people think yngwie sounds better that hendrix.thats why skill and technique is the only way to judge

  • @Megatrousers alright see now that I know that I completely respect your opinion. • @skolnick14

I don't think one can say that one guitarist is better than another in any objective way, it's not something that needs to be done. Playing guitar solos needs to be done as a way of expressing emotion; even to judge a guitarist on his technical abilities is as to judge an artist on how expensive the paint was. I understand that people like Malmsteen for how his solos sound, but I don't respect it when people like him simply because he can play fast.

  • @Megatrousers Yea and you think that guitar skill in only measured by their "feel."

  • @CoreThrasherGLB

They really are. There's a reason that solos like those from Comfortably Numb, All Along The Watchtower and Stairway to Heaven are considered to be the best of all time, whereas nobody outside of the guitar industry gives a flying fuck about Yngwie Malmsteen.

  • Joe Satriani starts with a J, Jimi Hendrix does too. Coincidences.. I think not

  • I like how Yngwie starts out with Hendrix's original solo but then goes Malmsteen style, lmao.

  • 3 of my fav player here to play my fav song?26 ppl are just showing their stupidity

  • It's nice, but.....other than Joe's solo, come on....kinda let me down here.

I guess it's back to watching SRV cover it, at least he does it right.

Still, amazing solos and amazing players in their own right. Just not right here IMHO.

  • The only one not losing the spirit during the solo is Satch. All nice solo's but the only one with a Hendrix feeling to it is Satriani's.

  • malmsteen fuckin rules

  • malmsteen fuckin rules

  • in the little wing of a guitarist you see into his heart

  • MANGA DE DROGADICTOS!! AJAJJ AGAUNTE MALMSTEEN!!

  • MALMSTEEN!!!!

  • MALMSTEEN!!!!

  • I like Satriani, because this song is more about feeling it, not about speed

  • joes solo has the most critical notes to make to stand out from the others

  • This is not metal guys, you need to fell it..

  • i'll never understand what did Malmsteen do there

  • go joe his solo was so soothing like the song is, Vai's is awesome but i think malmsteen over did it as much as i love his playing.

  • DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN DUANE ALLMAN

  • orgasmic

  • wow vai you sing very very well

  • Those opening notes of Yngwies solos were extremely melodic... but then he just got extremely hectic

  • Ala qe exitacion kon esos batos

  • WOw, Satriani just kick Malmsteen and VIa out of the stage

  • why do people always see playing guitar as a competition ?? music is music ..

  • satch was the only one who understood what the song is about...vai and malmsteen did not fit the song at all...vai can sing pretty well tho, i'll give him that

  • I am sorry guys, Clapton's solo & voice fits perfectly for "Little wing" !

Although well done these 3/4 are going too much over !

  • Steve VAI SINGSSSSS

  • satriani kicked some serious asses this time

  • I think that all three solos would make Jimi smile. None was the best, all were different, and good in there own style and approach.

  • in this concert:

    1st: Satriani

    2nd: Vai

    3th (or 4th...) LOL: Malmsteem

  • @putasydrogas NO WAI.. lol stop hating malmsteen.. he owned vai in this concert

  • @robertop699 ur obviousley a 10 yr old kid...

  • @Softairguy and you "obviousley" can't spell for shit

  • @robertop699 english is my 3rd language, if not 4th

  • Joe Satriani kicked ass here. His solo was melodic and soulful. None of that horrible shredding bullshit.

  • Man malmsteen sucks asss... He needs to take some lessons from Satch.., malmsteen trys to do toooo much and it sounds horrible..., instead of him on this song they should have put Petrucci or Eric Johnson.., or at least Paul Gilbert.., the true musicians..

  • stevie ray vaughan humiliates them all

  • @bielzanardo though he's dead....

  • @bielzanardo :/

  • @bielzanardo

I just don't know if your comment is fair. They all just have different flavors.

  • @bielzanardo no he doesn't... i think SRV is great but in a diffrent way :P

  • @bielzanardo It's a hendrix cover. SRV decided to go heavy on the blues aspect of it, and these decided to go heavy on the avant-garde part of it. If SRV would still be alive he would have deep, deep respect for both Vai and Satch.

    ..Malmsteen, not so much..

  • @bielzanardo you wish. Steve, Joe and Yngwie are a lot better than stevie

  • @robgibson9 : considering the fact that Steve & Joe are in their 50's and SRV died @ 35, so they've had 20 more years to play than he got -- we'll never know what he could have done by now.

IMO, he'd more than hold his own on this stage if he could... but we'll never know.

not cool to dis a dead guy -- especially one as talented and loved as SRV.

    not. cool.

  • Comment removed

  • @bielzanardo naa he just humiliates Satriani and Vai

  • @bielzanardo and this is y i find a retard

  • @bielzanardo Yea? How? Just because you like SRV? Tell me how did you figure that out? In music, there is no best, better, worse etc..Just opinions..Someone will like guitar playing with 2 notes per minute and someone will like guitar playing with 15 notes per second. That doesn't mean that either is better that the other one..How can't you people understand that?

  • @jimmyleppard6 because they are people, all we can do is ignore them.

  • just at 2:31 ... it was too much. sry.

as "jrecaaf" said: give this song to Gilmour, Santana and Satriani... or maybe Clapton and Blackmore and so on.. (Jeff Beck? as he can do anything? - Knopfler? not really his style, me thinks)

These guys here shine on other stuff

  • I say drop the speed... slow it down and add a little more actual feeling...

  • satriani is all like "yngwie.... what the fuck are you doing?"

  • malmsteen was beast too

  • i would listen play ''little wing'' to david gilmour, santana and satriani they have FEELING

  • @jrecaaf really santana has feeling??? i agree about gillmour and satriani but santana has the most tasteless palying

  • @loboDX182 yeah man, santana has a great feeling , you have to listen him or the other way watch santana's videos

  • @jrecaaf lol i was jus kidding around i know santana has feeling i have a cover i made of samba pa ti 2 years ago check it out in my channel

  • what is it that makes with his hand steve in minute 2:54?

  • @themusiclovermaster he's muting the strings for a cleaner sounds, so other strings wont sound while he's doing hammers and pull offs

  • Very good cover, I enjoyed it a lot (even with Malmsteen turning it into a speed contest, lol). I still think the charm of the original has never been captured by anyone other then SRV but then again the original is just art with tons of heart.

  • People can't see anything fast ... that they think it has no FEELING .... It's not because is fast ... that it couldn't have feeling.... malmsteen is one in a million that has this style neoclassical with FEELING ....

  • they are as far from the soul as the north pole is from the east pole! you MUST have hear Tibor Tátrai playing this! watch?v=q01HEKWSdNU

    he CAN play this!

  • @slash016 poor guy

  • @slash016 poor guy

Don't you know anything about soul?!

  • Vai is always in the middle, in all of the G3 tours, Vai is in the middle, Satch in his right, and the guest on his left.

  • @GladiatorsCorp No, on the G3 with Eric Johnson, he was on the middle, not Vai.

  • @GladiatorsCorp Vai is a guest too.

  • @xGrinder07x Indeed, i didn't expect that!

  • that would be a very dominatin band though if there not already

  • satriani is the guy wit the cap right who are the other two really feelin cat in da middle though cat bad

  • Love this piece as much as the original.... we have done a cover too...\,,/

  • Viva la satch!

  • Dave Meniketti's version BLOWS this away.

  • SRV beats all of these

    You know it's true ;)

Fair play to them though for being so fucking good at guitar xD

  • Comment removed

  • I'm glad to see that people notice Malmsteens utter faliure here.

  • holy sh*t steve can sing

  • 1st Place: Satch

    2nd Place: Vai

    306th Place: That bastard Malmsteen

  • At 4:09 satch and steve start doing a cool harmony part but then yngwie just go's off on a tangent and ruins the whole thing

  • If only Stevie Ray Vaughan was still alive today!!

  • if only stevie ray was still alive!!

  • Joe Satriani feel the blues.

  • malmsteem is so faaast but damn he playes the same shit all the time -_- joe is the best ;) vai is kinda nice too :D

  • Po prostu istne, cudowne dzieło sztuki!!!

  • if only there was Becker or Petrucci, malmsteen would not even dare to show his speed.....

  • Comment removed

  • @0zzyfan44 speed isnt everything dude

  • I respect malmsteen a lot but I fucking hate him..

  • These guys all play light years better then me, I love them Joe, Steve, and I really dont know the works of Malmsteen, however this is the third clip I have seen and my questions " Does Malmsteen seem limited outside his comfort zone, which is play fast?" I could be wrong. just a question.

  • AHAHAHA LOOK AT 2:29 Joe's Face!!!

It seems like "What the fuck is he doing? The same old shit...."

AHAHAHAH Guardate la faccia di joe a 2:29!!!!

Sembra dica "Ma cosa sta facendo?La solita vecchia merda...."

  • 1:05 Steve approves of Yngwie's lick, lol

  • @xJANKINSx lol

  • It was in tune when I bought it :D

  • epic intro win...

  • I wonder how should I play with my mouth. By teeth? By tongue? By lips?

  • 2:29 SATCH SAYS: NOOOOOOOO, NOOOOOOOOO you fucked the music.

    2:38 SATCH SAYS: BASTARD...

    XD

  • @pinqueque yngwie likes to play as fast as he can as long as he can

    it's stupid

  • @AdamSparkey It's his style, it is in no way stupid. Don't be ignorant.

  • @xJANKINSx well sorry maybe i got it too hard on him

If you say it is his style than i don't like it too much

  • wow

  • 4:40 ORGASMIC

  • the most beautiful is the joe's solo

  • Man Jimi could have been the fourth guitarist up there :(.

  • amazing cover, i know there's a lot of hate for malmsteen, but they are all adding their own style to this piece and i love the finished piece, great work by all 3 of them!!!!

  • @number1kissfan Satriani takes this one easy. sorry.

  • @number1kissfan What i dont get is why people hate Malmsteen? He has major skill, major MAJOR skill. He is very consistent, which is good for his style.Classical is very diciplened.

  • @ThatAudioChocolate I agree. Generally the haters of Malmsteeen are jealous of his skill and get this image locked in their head of him being someone who mindlessly shreds the guitar. Virtuosity demands decades of practice and experience, and mastery of the blues. He's then branched off and done his neoclassical stuff. If people actually took the time to listen to his music and stopped being so narrow minded and naive they might change their minds, they won't admit it of course.
