You might get an argument that the Steelers are the team of the 70's, not the Cowboys.

  • The pussy official deserved to get hit because he cheated the Vikings out of winner the game. Plus, the jerk official was an obvious Obama supporter!

  • Page would never hear the end of it nowadays for walking off the field early.

  • @VikeFan284296

Never knew about this ..what happened with Page ?

  • fixed...or da usual!

  • everyone always brings up the the non-call on pearsons TD, did he or didnt he push off? I think the refs should have called it, only because they owed the vikings one.If you watch the 4th and the ball game play, you will see alan page get hog tied and taken down from behind. I remember watching the game and screaming at the tv set over this non-call.The cowboys did out play the vikes most of this game. But i belive the vikes got the shaft in the end

  • @MrsCannoli1

I thought the Vikings should not have been in that position to start with. make no excuse for them even though I was a diehard fan back then.Anyway, look at Mark Mullaney getting tackled @ 2:00.

  • Paid off ref

  • @1mybrain Doesn't matter the Vikings would've blown the super bowl anyways haha!

  • I KNEW I remembered that incredible Drew Pearson catch on 4th and 17 before the big play. It was a much tougher throw and catch than the Hail Mary TD, quite frankly.

  • @johnnypoker46

The 4th and 17 was a tough catch, but the Hail Mary was bizzare when you look at it closely.

The pass was underthrown, Pearson made the adjustment and slowed down. At about the 17 yrd line, Nate Wrigh is lost. He takes his eye of the ball as he looks for Pearson. That instant allows for him to lose sight of the ball and not make the adjustment like Pearson. Finally, Pearson caught the ball with his wrist AND his hip !!

  • @6400az One obvious thing that both the Vikings and the Rams lacked during the 1970's...great reserve players, i.e. a bench...that's one thing that the Cowboys had, which is why, the Cowboys are probably the team of the 1970's...

  • @GemCan78

Hmmm, yea maybe. The Vikings could'nt play in January, they just could'nt play...with or without backups.

  • Nice, tame celebration compared to the chest thumping arrogance that would permeate today.

  • @cochranexyz Yes.

  • that was bullshit....he pushed off!!!!

  • Dam, whoever hit the official in the head should've been signed up as a QB, that's a hell of an arm and some serious accuracy to hit someone from that far away

  • "88,Number Drew Pearson for the touchdown" lol!

  • I gotta get this full game. Even though I'm not a Vikings fan, and they usually lost big games, I love watching those 70's Vikings teams

  • Well: I guess the NFL can't cover up everything bad that happens. It was offensive pass interference that wasn't called that Fran was probably getting in the face of the Ref. about? It should have been Minnesota's game; not a glorified victory for Dallas. Still, the fans shouldn't have been throwing things onto the field and at the Refs.. This cuts a bit short but I think that it was a pint whiskey bottle that he was hit with? Not cool Viking Fans. The Globe Trotters are America's Team.

  • An official got hit in the head with something? So Viking fans have ALWAYS been classless??

  • @RuddFvcker8374 shit like this is why i think any fan who uses the word "class" is just a douchebag

  • Thanks for falling for the pump fake Krause.. Sincerely, Roger S.

  • This kid Staubach might be good someday
