  • This Music Touches Me The Most...l Only Have Eyes For You, And Would Die On You!

Thanks For Dedicating The Music Of HEART To Me Gordon!!!!

    Love You Back!

Wish You A Happy, Blessed, Peaceful & Prosperous New Year 2012 And Future Ahead G!

  • "EVERYBODY PLEASE" Shut UP...This is a GREAT SONG...Just ENJOY..SHEEEEEEESH

  • This looks like a soap opera show. Very romantic.

  • WHATS THE GUYS NAME HES GORGEOUS TOO :)))

  • Get over yourself. It could take you two years or a lifetime. Your choice. Get help!

  • The Flamingo's sang this song better, this version is good don't get me wrong, but The Flamingo's revolutionized this song, I wonder how the Flamingo's would sound with this dreamy instrument in the beginning.

  • Art Gartfunkel made this song his own and what a great version he did

  • Blue eyes and blond hair! Wow, I'm a sucker for most girls who come equipped like this fine, young woman.

  • This has got to be one of the best songs ever written and AG's voice is superb and by far the best version of the song

  • yeah i remember this song on the soundtrack to a 70s movie called Doc Savage Man of Bronze, starred Ron Ely...40 somethings will remember he played Tarzan in the TV series back then.

  • This song was the inspiration that got me started on a singing career that lasted some 14 years & this was the 1st song I sang in public. Art Grafunkels' version uses different chords to the original, which gives a great effect. It was no doubt Stephen Bishop or one of Arts' other songwriter friends whose idea it was to change the chord structure to give the song such a magical sound complimented by the Rhodes electric piano & some very soulful guitar work. Arts' version is a masterpiece.

  • AG at his very best. Check out some of his other brilliant tracks on the Angel Clare album..

  • i HATE DOGS

  • Art hit #18 in Billboard, 11-29-75. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Shalom, Art.

  • I had no idea Art Garfunkel ever sang this song; I had never heard it. He did an absolutely outstanding job with it. The song, let's face it, is a classic and he knocked it out of the ballpark. The video was very good, you got the "feelings" going on between them without it being done in a blatant fashion; I like that. This is a definite keeper. Thanks for a great post. Also, thank you, you know who you are, for sharing this with me.

  • Ballerei volentieri un lento con te

  • Bellissima

  • My Wedding song in 1976. A truely magical year. I miss it so.

  • my wedding dance 14 years ago

  • Excuse me while I get old watching a really screwed up slow Carly tune by bad actors How sad! do I need a jazzy chair now? this version makes me think so.

  • @THEPOCONOJOECHANNEL

This tune is not a Carly Simon tune... In fact she didn't do this song til after MANY others did it. This song was made for a movie back in 1934. This version by Art Garfunkel is from the 1970's. The most noteable rendition of this song is probably by "The Flamingos" way back in like 1960 or so.

As far as the acting goes, I couldn't say... but I doubt the daily soaps are offering much in the way of talent, anyways. :P

  • HEART HEART HEART THIS SONG

  • This is the most romantic love song ever written and Art Garfunkel takes it over the top. Great job Art.

  • This is one of my favourite songs, fairplay to ye young fella that was lovely.

  • can i know what movie is this?

  • It looks like a soap opera.

  • I was born in the week this was Number 1

  • i played this song to the watertown school of the blind

  • This was my wedding dance song. The band sounded just like this

  • Wow, you must have paid a lot of money for a band that sounded like this. Most wedding bands are pretty mediocre.

  • This was 1980, the band were friends of mine and we paid $500!! That was a great price even then because every song they played sounded like the original. Don't know where they are now, but they were very talented. Wish it was recorded.

  • I know that wedding bands are not supposed to be so good that they outshine the bride and groom but, like I said, I 've seen some pretty average ones. At one wedding, only the bass player was really solid and I remember dancing and trying to tune out everyone in the band but him just to dance decently! Glad that you had much better.

  • Unfortunately, the marriage ended after 18 years. He went onto his third and now is unhappy...oh well. Still think of him and this song.

  • Man, I LOVE Tommy P.!

  • Whoever said that is an idiot the flamingos where the greatest doo wop group of there time.... though the platters where pretty solid

  • This is better than the flamingos

  • @tedagr No it's not your moron, not even close, can't beat the original asshole

  • @7Know7Thy7Enemy7 . It seems that you punctuate and end your sentences with your assumed names. You also take a long time to make come backs. My post was two years ago. That makes you two years behind sad guy!! and cheer up! life is too short to be angry at everybody. Get counselling or something, it might change your life and clear the air around you, making the world a better place... hey you might even gain a few friends loner.

  • @tedagr My reply is late? I love scrolling through old comments nitwit, and unfortunately your comment was years ago, common sense will tell you bonehead. (shaking my head)

  • the best romantic song recorded by art garfunkel. i miss my mid 70s' morayta days. nice video, nice guy, very pretty woman... thanks for uploading

  • Fucking superb song.

  • can sum1 please tell me wat happen in this soap, if it is a soap?...im guessing that baby is not hers? HELP!

  • Great remake Art.

  • Vulgar?? How so? I'm confused.

  • His crude expression of wanton desire to ravish that fair young damsel (OK?)

  • Reminds me of warm summer nights... and the "one."

  • this is the most romantic song of all time

  • There are quite a few romantic songs out there, but if this isn't the #1, it should be among the top 3 or 4 at very minimum. It's one of my favorite romantic songs ever.

  • Couldn't of said it better, danny! I agree 100%

  • @dannyt92548 This song is from a 1930.s Busby Berkely starring Dick Powell and Ruby Keeler. The main sequence of the film is where Dick Powell sings the song and no matter where he is or where he looks (magazine covers, billboards, people) all he sees is Ruby Keeler.

  • @dog1701 -- Hey, that's interesting. Thanks for the info!

  • can anyone tell me who the lady is please.....she's so gorgeous

  • The actress' name is Stephanie Gatschet.

  • nah

  • I've just changed my wannabe wedding song to this one x

  • This was my wannabe wedding song cos it's so true.Luv ya babe

  • I have heard three versions of this song, the one from the Platters, The Flamingos and also Art Garfunkel's. Art's is more inspiring.

  • Masterpiece. Period.

  • i only have eyes for you, dear babygirl.

    your boo.

  • I would hope so or you're on TROUBLE!

  • Drop your Breakaway CD of Art into the tray, sit down and listen carefully! You'll be surprised how high you can fly with his songs!

Awesome, although the ratings by critics was just average in the 70's!Fools!

  • Paul's a great musician, but Art surely sings a million times better.

  • Art is a great vocalist (which is something above a singer).

  • This song has to be the No 1 song to be played while making love to a beautiful women.............

  • Great song....always leaves me speechless. Thank you....

  • I still love this song after all these years when it first came out :-)

  • A melhor versão desta música.

  • This guy is a cutie.

  • This is the most romantic of all songs. It is peerless and timeless.

  • Yes, you're right. I've heard three versions of this song (Flamingos , this one, and the new/old version done in the movie "Bronx Tale") and all three of them are very good. Nice to see that the later artists did a nice job of it and didn't mess it up, like so many singers do when covering an older song.

  • yep, great rendition by Art Garfunkel.

  • yep, it's great when people are serious about doing a remake and don't do a horrifically bad job.

  • my mom bought the record "Breakaway" in 1975 at the age of 18 and played it when i was young so i have nice memories of this song.

  • And to think Paul Simon receives all the glory. This sends shivers down my spine. This and LADY BLUE

  • Arty does a beautiful rendition of this Platter's hit...his voice and musical arrangements are otherworldly.

  • so dreamy...

each time I hear this song,

    I feel,

    I'm in seventh heaven...

    Thanks so much for posting~*

  • My favorite record of 1975. I think I wore the grooves of my first 45 of it flat in one month. It went to No. 18 pop and spent 18 weeks on Billboard starting August 23.

  • and,i believe it went to number one in the uk, where they still have more appreciation for songs like this. from what i understand, doris day is still huge over there.

  • Sooooo sweet, I love this video, and Art is Angel voice yes, I was lucky to see him Solo twice her in Australia, both nights front row. Art Rules !!!!

  • Heavenly!!

  • Amazing cover. This is by far the best version of the song...

  • I like this video, you used a lot of clips that I haven't seen on other videos.

  • no words can describe that I feel with this man singing this song

  • He has the voice of an angel. The best ever.

  • My favorite version of the song. Art Garfunkel is indescribable.

  • right on he is the best!

  • kool
