Rich Harrison and his team done a brilliant job on this album and captured the pure beautiful tones in Amerie's voice. Very subtle and chilled out mood setting music. I'd recommend this to any R&B Lover for a chilled out sexy eveing.

[ noithing like loveing you , show me , all i have , i just died ] just too name a few good songs off the album ! this album was nothing but beautiful vocals , melodies , & background music!

Marrying her manager or producer is actually a good move for her underrated career(not to say that she married him for that) but just in case she may get kicked out of her label for not selling enough! @11940ful yeah , hopefully she will make a big turn around or some producer will come along and fix her career ... cause she's been around since her early 20's now shes 30 ! not that age defines a good singer , but if she doesnt come up with something big in the next few years... she might have to move on to acting or something lol ( hope she gets her music career on track!!)

Or like you said settle on an acting career...Maybe she should get a reality show so we can get to know her all over again. It's sad! @11940ful I know.... But if im right she sells more albums then kelis ( minus "Tasty" ). But i'm not understanding how she fell off , because when she came out with this album she was pretty popular... I just believe she should have promoted two more singles rather than just promoting " why dont we fall in love" & "Talkin to me" because only two singles are not enough. She needs too appear on shows like wendy williams and monique and every to help get her name & music accross!!

I'm still loving her debut album to this day. It's her best album so far. Amerie has a beautiful voice and really enviable looks and yet she's so underrated. I hope that she gets much more exposure now that she's signed to Def Jam.
