The Charger is not a 392, unless it was a transplant. The body style is the last body not the 2012 SRT8, I really think it has a 6.1 and we all know the engine is 425 HP as opposed to the 6.4 at 470 HP.

@Fultzy02 Camaro "won" the race straight up. But the Charger had the better time. The clock doesn't start ticking until you leave the line. The Camaro had a better R/T as you can clearly see as he leaves the line first.

I have an SRT8 Charger, my father-in-law has a SS Camaro...both are extremely fast cars. Don't let the weight of that Charger fool you.

Still though, the Corvette is similarly powered and costs the same and is faster lol and YES, you can buy BRAND NEW corvette for under $50k where as every Dodge dealer that had an SRT8 was pricing them at $50K+ The new 470's are going to be even more marked up garunteed

@Tipownsyou The Charger did not run that fast. It was still in the 13's. As mentioned, a tune and a CAI is easily enough to get a low 13s with the Charger. If you are talking "Mod for Mod" then the Charger should drop 400 lbs off and put in a taller rear end. The SRT8 has a 3.08 rear end. Point is, you are comparing apples and oranges. However...For a 400 lbs deficit and a shorter rear end, the Charger still beat the Camaro ET by over 2 tenths.
