That was a crappy demo. At least show the EVO and the tv side by side so we know the video out actually works.

No you don't. You must be using bad cables. I use it with my projector and an app called Mixzing and the audio and video both go through to the projector

@bigdawgdl I have that app on my evo too, it's nice, I like it way more than poweramp but poweramp is really nice too but it's not free, you get to try it for a few days or buy it..

To Bad the Audio does not come with the HDMI Cable --- you have to have seperate cables in order to get Audio from the EVO to the Television set......bummer....

@SDtrukr1 I believe the EVO was the largest at the time the video was made. But now the largest is between the Samsung Epic touch II and the Motorola Photon.

Does anyone know if this phone can be unlocked to be used with AT&T? I am switching back to that carrier in a bit and I just wanted to know because I really like this phone...well, who doesn't lol. And if it can't be used with at&t...what is the best HTC phone that is compatible with at&t? Thank you for ready this :D

@lP3zZ Nope, the Evo is CDMA and AT&T's network is GSM. afaik, there are no worthwhile Androids on AT&T. Go for an iPhone in that case.

@thebsdguy yeah I then found that out...I never used sprint before so I didn't know if they were CDMA or GSM...and since the iPhone 4 is coming to verizon in January 2011(confirmed by USAtoday) we are staying with verizon so my only question now is...can you use the EVO on verizon if you unlock it???
