Thanks for the clip,,,,what a grouse song from our aussie past, wow how time fly,s and music gets worse, but not from our past, and always had this at partie,s playing back when,if not someone would of brought it along as we did back then,,,taking records from your house to a mates house, anyone remember...
MPD played a lunchtime concert at Balwyn High, I remember Mike Brady fell of the stage into some bushes! Hilarious. Saw them again at the Rendevous Club in Mitcham, good little band.
Most likely The GO!! Show as they recorded on the GO!! record label.Kommotion was the show where Aussies mimed to American records. Some of the mimers were Denise Drysdale and Ian "Molly" Meldrum.
Thanks, GeriatricDinosaur (you aren't the only one!), for this trip...those really were some days and i sometimes wonder if Mike remembers a certain redhead in Adelaide that he nicknamed Freddie Frog...(not me but a good friend of mine).

Sorry mate, they were not from New Zealand.
Mike Brady was from Port Melbourne - Garden City, Pete Watson was in Melbourne band "The Phantoms" and Danny Finlay from suburban Springvale.

I remember this song from TV. They were a new Zealand group like so many who made the trip to Australia and showed our bands how to play

I think you're getting mixed up with Ray Columbus & the Invaders of "She's a Mod" fame.
