@wonderbreadkw No not at all. These are top notch Cams for N/A swaps. Just have the car tuned when you install them. I've probably put 12,000 miles on mine with no issues. Low rpm's they can buck a little bit under 1100 rpms but it's not bad.
@TekMan05 hows gas mileage. I know when i end up making a bit more money mpg wont be too much of an issue. but Ive heard someone using frpp hot rod cams getting 14.7 avg. with hard driving but some other guy is getting 20mpg avg with hard driving. and they both have an endless list of mods.
I had an '88 5.0 with essentially straight pipes from the cats back. At idle it was nice and quiet. Open the throttle and it sounded like a Stock Car! I miss that car. Enjoy yours!
@Nickmaster26 Actually they really don't mind. They knew I was alway modding my Explorer before I got the mustang and they just come to get used to the fact I'm a Car guy.Never have they personally came up and complained to me about them. I just don't Blare my exhaust through the neighborhood at night too which they respect.
@ramracing4point7ltr If you're talking about the beeping sound , that's the radar detector lol not an alcohol tester. Hell I never drink anyways! Thanks for watching!
The exhaust is after market except the piping from the clamps that lead to the mufflers. The clamps use a 5/8'' or a 15mm to unbolt. They hold the exahust from after the h pipe and up from the down pipe to the muffler. I slide the clamps off then use metal wire to hang the up pipe up off the ground.
What do you mean by 'mufflers disconnected'? Is your entire exhaust stock? BTW, I put in electric cutouts myself so I know a little about my Mustang's exhaust. Just curious.
Whow like 3 gallons of gas spent making this video... Hope putting thumbs up can get you some gas...

just open headers

@blackbulltrance It's not open headers. If it was, it'd be BEYOND loud. This is just no mufflers.

@nigeleckzdee I have a video of my clutch and transmission install where we did crank it with open headers. Just never uploaded that video
