Now down here no one has RotoRays. Is the purpose of the RotoRay to flash & reflect in the rear view mirror of the vehicle in front of you and catch their attention?
As far as I'm aware, in MD, Red/White/Amber MUST be the prominent lights and advisory directional signals on the trucks. We used to have a red white and blue roto-ray on ours, but, we change it to red and white because it seemed to confuse motorists.
yeah well thats kentland for ya... but its also prob something to do with the fact that blue helmet shields signify a rescue company, so hence the blue light.
Do they ever hit the traffic lights prior to exiting the station?

@jaybob324 The traffic lights at the station are fully functional, but if we waited for them, then it would actually slow down our response time.

Never seen a Blue 888 before. Looks sick being the only blue light on the truck!

There are quite a few NC departments with RotoRays, they're just not as popular as they are up north.

why do they have a blue mars 888 light? i thought in maryland FD can only use red/white/amber.

yea blue on a firetruck in md. is illegal,red and white.police are blue and red.
