  • Do they ever hit the traffic lights prior to exiting the station?

  • @jaybob324 The traffic lights at the station are fully functional, but if we waited for them, then it would actually slow down our response time.

  • Never seen a Blue 888 before. Looks sick being the only blue light on the truck!

  • I like the blue 888, looks great.

  • Now down here no one has RotoRays. Is the purpose of the RotoRay to flash & reflect in the rear view mirror of the vehicle in front of you and catch their attention?

  • There are quite a few NC departments with RotoRays, they're just not as popular as they are up north.

  • why do they have a blue mars 888 light? i thought in maryland FD can only use red/white/amber.

  • As far as I'm aware, in MD, Red/White/Amber MUST be the prominent lights and advisory directional signals on the trucks. We used to have a red white and blue roto-ray on ours, but, we change it to red and white because it seemed to confuse motorists.

  • yea blue on a firetruck in md. is illegal, red and white.police are blue and red.

  • yeah well thats kentland for ya... but its also prob something to do with the fact that blue helmet shields signify a rescue company, so hence the blue light.

  • yea.
