Wow, buddhasknowbest! I'm flattered! The two reasons you think it looks fake are actually real! The plant is actually a photograph of a real tulip I bought at a flower shop across the street, and fishbowls with a carefully cut and sealed hole in the back (through which you can pump air) do exist.

your fish is going to die from bacterial infection or a number of other things if you don't move him in at least a 10g tank but i recommend a 20. they make ALOT of waste

Yes, the problem with putting a goldfish in a bowl is the small surface area relative to the water volume, which creates an oxygen-poor environment. BUT... notice that I'm pumping air bubbles into the bowl to oxygenate the water. Also, notice that it's not a real goldfish, but a computer simulation. My hope is that people who would otherwise hurt a goldfish by putting it in a bowl will buy my program instead.
It is also a problem that there is not enough space for a goldfish to grow, it's insides will continue to grow untill it dies from lack of space. And they poo a whole lot. lol
@InkRoze: Yes, I know -- I'd never keep a REAL goldfish in a bowl, unless it had a very large filtering & oxygen system, and even then I'd only keep it there while it was small enough.

My oponion would be to get bowls banned, or only let fish keepers having betta males in it. Goldfish does abselutely not belong to a bowl, or even a fish tank(the tank should be very very big if you want to keep them then...). Goldfishs belongs to ponds... am i to harsh?
lets say if you only want one you would at LEAST need a 250+ litre tank. if more you'll go around the 1000 litres... also because they can get 30 cm long...
