They are rare outside of pennsylvania, maybe make a trip up to Altoona, you'll see so much conrail, and assorted stuff that I've never seen in maryland, its really great, just don't go in the winter, on the first day i was there it was 20 degrees, with 20mph winds. but i was visiting family so i can go up here often.
yep four of them, they are stationed here on the pittsburgh line, and serve the locals of he area which is coal. They move coal from the south fork secondary, to baltimore and ashtabula ohio also, sometimes. But they usally stay in the area on local coal and some freight in johnstown. None are left in conrail apint anymore
