Great Post...Not really good with my hands and don't have the time to build one so i ended up buying a SunLit Box.... If you have the time to build one and the know how do it... But for a person like me that just wanted to grow... the SunLit box was the way i went. Happy Growing

I used Boor Bolts next to the brackets. They add EXTRA Torque to the mating of the boards. (When you go to lock and close the Bolt- you have a firm torqued fit)

i just leave the brackets there, drench them in crazy glue, let dry then use the hole filler paste to cover cracks. would that work?

@rjcw2 RJ, Just an idea.. Where you mess up at where the gaps being uneven.. Make a shem(i think that how you spell it) or buy a stack of shems at your building store (homedepot, lowes etc..) it helps keeps the lines even all the way across.

You may be able to use velcro around the edges of the doors to light proof them. i built a 2 door filing cab once. It was a serious pain in the neck to get the exhaust holes drilled out. Shoot me some pics of your project. Ill take a look and see if I have any suggestions.

The light proofing i'll figure out from your vids with some mods but how to build the door opening mech on the unit. Its an Argos oak 2 drawer filing cab. Argos is Irish Walmart! Google it for an idea of what i'm lookin at. Got me Light traps built! Studied your vids. Feckin top instructions man! :)
