  • Finally a visual of you talking about your story, I really like this Lev thank you for being so interested in the where that affected your self and the horror that your mother lived through.

The stories you tell are from a real person who has a real connection to the events not someone who is interested in the subject and writes from historical accounts. I know that you do that too but you always make it clear the stories are about your family, your people.

    Thank you

  • this is at my religous school :D

  • Lev -

This video is so compelling. You've presented such a vivid retelling of your experience that I, as a viewer, felt as if I were there, experiencing that moment in time.

Congratulations on a masterful job of blending unspeakable events with a profoundly personal and beautifully written story.

  • Lev Raphael's dynamic reading of the Prologue to his memoir, My Germany, makes his text all the more moving. I urge everybody to read the book. The writer, son of Holocaust survivors, slowly learns to accept the new Germany . He becomes a stronger person, and more serene. His account is gripping.

  • Lev,

This is just riveting. I don't know whar else to say.
