You should not fear death. Death is suffering which is part of the neverending wheel of existance (Sangsara). Only when you reach realisation will all become clear to you. Should you accept the eightfold path into your existance death will be gentle
i must agree, what makes me afraid is not the death, but is scared and reaching death n flip over. but i hope in my next meditation, i will try to let go of fear. i have clung to it for many nights when i travel n stayed in hotels alone n all sorts of things. not with humans.
For my part I feel the more I become aware the more I see death and also become aware of my fears. Somenights I wake up with extreme fear of death. Its very hard to just look at it and remain without trying to escape... But after many many nights like this I know that fear is impermanent.. but have yet to break through it fully.. Meaning I tend to find a "safe thought" to rely on.. and so the emotion calms. but I know that I must face it fully sometim

superstition, self-made mind games, consolation. why waste life in these meditations and games

is it not better to "waste" life in meditation and mindfulness rather than hatred, anger and resentment?
