  • ça me rapelle a fond les musiques de la NES :) cette musique aurait pu completement etre utilisée pour l'époque, a part les graphismes ^^

  • how come the purple comet in good egg galaxy doesn't play this?

  • @shark1albert This plays on timed purple comet missions. I don't think you'll find it playing in any galaxy without a timer.

  • First few seconds make me think SELECT YOUR CHARACTER!

  • 4 people just can get 99 coins

  • There should be some code that changes the sounds in Mario Galaxy to 8-bit music.

  • Reminds me of the remix in the Mario and Sonic Olympic game, whichever one it was.

  • NES Comet in Orbit!

    Purple Coins on the NES

    Mario: YIPPIE!!!

    Time: 0:17

    Mario: ._. HURRY HURRY!

  • 4 people dont like this?!?!WHAT?!?!

  • At 1:25 it feels like a great power is welling up inside of you!!

  • At 1:25 it feels like a great power is welling up inside of you!

  • Excelent adaptation of three seperate pieces of music. But I have to say, it's done so well it makes me think of the NES Megaman games more than Mario. Which tells you just how good Capcom was at this stuff.

  • Beginning sounds like Pokemon. Anyone else think that?

  • 8-Bit Comment in Orbit!!

    (AWESOME)

  • ( :

  • This shouldn't be 8 bit, it should be star bit!!!

    Lol Mario jokes

  • Love the intro

  • *alarms*

    AWESOME COMET IN ORBIT!

  • 8 bit music>Justin bieber

  • @realwaluigi how dare you compare justin beaver with awesome 8-bit music :P jk

  • Holy crap, the purple comet music sounds REALLY good in 8-bit.

  • it sounds EXACTLY like something froma mega man game

  • @Peanutz996 Agreed.

  • 8-bit > all

  • Super mario galaxy NES

  • This kinda reminds me of music from the old Game Gear Sonic games.

  • wow, it actually sounds 8bit! and its very well done! nice!!!

  • This is what would play if Mario got ahold of the Gameboy player from Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver and used it in a timed/150 purple coin level.

  • Finally, an "8-bit" remix that's NOT made with GXSCC. THANK YOU!

  • The beginning (star selection) reminds me of Wario Land.

  • sounds a bit like metroid

  • This sounds very Mega Man-like. The part at the beginning even sounds like an MM stage select and stage intro.

  • Pkmn Trainer Purple Comet wants to fight!

    Go, Mario!

    Mario: It's a me, Mario!

    Purple comet used Pay Day!

    Purple coins were scattered everywhere!

Player beat Pkmn Trainer Purple Comet?

Mario picked up 100 Purple coins.

  • Wow, you actually did it yourself rather than using one of those crappy converters? Great job man :)

  • The part at 1:23 is just to awesome for my ears.

  • COSMIC MARIO wants to fight!

  • nice

  • The part that starts at 1:23 is so beautiful....

  • what do you use to make the sounds? please tell me!

  • The first part reminds me of Mario Tennis on the GBC.

  • Sounds like Megaman. (MEGAMAN IN SPACE!!!)

  • CometMan appeared?! How do I beat that asshole?

  • @sidwerd1hater Use Cosmic GuideMan

  • W00T Super Mario Galaxy NESS!!!!!

  • I love this music its my favorite music on super mario galaxy! :)

  • This sounds like it belongs in a megaman game...

  • I remember seeing a purple comet in orbit above Toy Time Galaxy, and I hoped it wouldn't be timed and that it wouldn't be on the big Mario thing. It turned out to be EXACTLY what I didn't want

  • @magmablock For "Luigi's Purple Coins", the time limit is hardly a threat. In fact, ignore it, cause you have more than enough time. What you have to worry about is dying.

  • Must..Play.....Super Mario GALAXY!

  • Ez nagyon jó 8 bitesen is!! :D

  • this really does sound 8-bit, unlike a lot of 8bit remixes.

  • I bet this would be what it would sound like if Megaman was in space! EPIC DUDE.

  • Must.

    Resist.

    Urge.

To make an 8-bit version of SMG.

  • Nostalgic memories of Pokemon Trading Card Game are coming back now... :)

Hang on! The game's sitting right next to me on my desk! :D

  • FINALLY, Not a GXSCC knockoff.

  • this.....song......KICKS ASS YEAH!!!!!!!!!

  • the first one reminds me on pokémon trading card game on gameboy

  • me 2 omg...

  • the 1st song sounds like it could b on pokemon for the gameboy

  • what did you use to create this? I try using FamiTracker but I don't think I could make songs this complicated

  • Luigi's Purple Coins, IN 8-BIT!

  • The creator is really, really channeling Megaman through this one

  • NES comet in orbit!

  • @BowserUltimateFan63 The NES comet makes the game go 8 bit.

  • GIVE ME NSF NOW!!!

  • 1.23-1.50 bit that sticks in my head most i always thought it was gusty garden coz it would fit with that.

  • that actually IS a fragment from Wind/Gusty Garden

  • i just lisened and relised that lol i like that bit sooooooo much

  • sounds like a nes smg

  • Sounds like mega man!

  • So beautiful,it brings a tear to my eye... :*)

  • First 8-bit remix that actually sounds 8-bit. Excellent work

  • @theman5141 Agreed..... Some people just Play the song and add a Techno thing in the backround... That DEFFINETLY works..... : / This actually sounds GOOD compared to others... others are just TERRIBLE thumbs up if your sick of FAKE 8 bit songs! NOT THIS THIS IS REAL

  • Heh, nice that you've also added the "Choose a Star" intro and Stage Overview(at least, that's what I call after the camera showing parts of the stage. P:)

The song itself can't be compared - it looks like it was made from Nintendo, but with the essense of a fan inside of it. Every single detail is put onto it.

I can really smell a really good effort in it.

    Good job. :D

  • This is perfect! This song almost sounds like a Mega Man stage.

  • You're right! This song would be perfect for a Mega Man level in it's 8-bit form!

  • Props on that, it's a good work you did there.

  • OMG FINALLY AUTHENTIC 8-bit! Do you have any idea how many people make remixes in "fake-bit"?

  • wow this is so cool how did you do this

  • I give this video 5 Grand Stars.

  • Oh, what I wouldn't give for a looping version...

  • ..and you are a douchebag, weeoo86. Go do like the two numbers in your name.

  • Dude relax, I LOVE Mario Galaxy!! heck I would say that it's one of my favorite games in the history of ever!!

However, it IS rather strange that the twinkly stars on the boxart letters spell out "U R MR GAY", lol.

  • that meens that your not gay that meens another word for entertainment. i got this information from the german nintendo-magazine n-zone!!

  • Do you not realise Nintendo put the sparkle there for DECORATION, and NOT to reveal a pointless message?

  • Yes I know, but it's just funny that they put it on those particular letters that's all:)

  • Gay actually means happy, you know.

  • Well.....that's true!!:D

  • if used the right way then gay means happy

  • you picked my favorite tracks from SMG to remix, too :D

  • :D!

Dj-bouche is such an awesome music composer.

    A great 8-bit remixer to.

Gusty-gardens are my favorite remix though.

  • simply put: amazing! great job!

  • you are the best 8bit remixer ever

  • I love how you also added the theme to the startup of the level. It really adds charm to the remix. Overall, a lovely composition.

  • I enjoy your music! Looking for more 8bit music, it has a special charm :) *subscribe*

  • i am LOVING THIS

  • imagine playing a NES mario game to this.

  • Love it! Love your music!

  • Awesome! Keep the 8-bit tunes coming!

  • yhere no mario and the super mario galaxy is small

  • Anybody see something wrong in the title picture?

  • wats rong wit it?

  • I saw one video pointing out if you cut out all letters except the ones with stars under them it spells "UR MR GAY"

Does Nintendo hate us or did they accidently put that in?

  • Do you know how old that UR MR GAY thing is?

  • No.

  • Well, this December it should be about a year old... people started to notice it pretty much when it came out.

  • Must be an Easter egg

  • They've fixed that in newer productions of the game.

  • I think it got something to do with the MR game and watch

  • lol gameboy music-like version! please someone do the Bowser battle theme in 8 bits or i would explode without any good reason like a nuke!

  • It's in the works... way overdue, but in the works

  • @djbouche well, it isnt out yet :( but I'll be waiting for it!

  • lol joke

  • too cool!! keep em coming!

  • awsome!!! i luv it

  • OMG GUSTY GARDEN PIECE

    I love that part

  • I love the Star select part too! It gives a feel of the whole level.

  • Hooray for DJ Bouche!

I don't know why, but I hate this song but love the chiptune.

  • This is the best 8-bit one i've heard so far.

  • OMG!! soooo awesome!!!! :O

  • *Plays sound that's played in the Twix commercials(before they say, "Need a moment?")* Wait, wait, wait. You did the star select music? Dude, that's way off the awesomeness chart, and makes a bridge that leads to the MEGA-UBER AWESOMENESS CHART!!! Keep up the great work! It's 1,000 out of 5 now! Or maybe, IT'S OVER 9,000!!!

  • I love this song! In my opinion, it's the best song in Super Mario Galaxy(TM)! It's so good, I cry every time I hear it! 5 out of 5, man!
