because the board can be vertical!! watch my 360 flip, its more vertical, but it flips b/c you can see the boards trucks on top, and the board upsidedown. or watch my 540 flip, same thing. wen its upsidedown, the board is kinda like diagonal like-->/ that, so you can only see the grip tape and trucks on top.
