where i live down by the park the river has alot of scker trout stuff like that..so the past few days ive been jumping in the river and swiming with the fish...after a while they dont care and you can swim up and "pet" them under water..if i get a underwater camera ill make a video its sweet
I guess it all depends on what your fishing for. Those 40lb pain in the butt carp are a trophy fish to some. The video was for fun. THanks for stopping by and commenting
me and my grandpa spear these in the creek by my house. check out the vidoe on here dodgers first fishing trip, its the first one of my dog and his sucker.
Everyone who gave me a thumbs down need a basic biology class where they discuss non-native introduced pest that destroy an eco system. Put that thumb right up where the sun don't shine and spin on it until you puke!!!!!
I don't disagree that sucker fish are "fun to catch for kids" The truth is they would be trout/salmon/steelhead ect. instead of suckers or squa fish if they wern't introduced to this area. Nothing worse than having your favorite fishing hole invaded by these "pests" I've seen a school of sucker fish following right behind salmon spawning eating the eggs. Just think how fun trout would be to catch for a kid instead of these. You can eat every other type of native fish.
not true catch and release is a great thing it provides more fish for everyone to catch it is true that many of the stocked trout die when it gets hoter thought
never catch and release stocked rainbows, the mortallity is high, Have seen dozens dead and dying downstream from a stocking, the fish die in warm weather, take your 5 and leave the rest for others, if you catch and release a dozen they will die and thats less for everyone
Trouwoot.

ChrisH11515 1 year ago
@ChrisH11515 Never used a dipnet and dont plan on it, i dont consider carp a "gamefish" but they do fight i'd still rather catch a pike or a catfish
