  • where i live down by the park the river has alot of scker trout stuff like that..so the past few days ive been jumping in the river and swiming with the fish...after a while they dont care and you can swim up and "pet" them under water..if i get a underwater camera ill make a video its sweet

  • @MrCollegeFootballGuy Suckers taste great, dont listen to ur stupid dad

  • Thx for releasing. :d

  • I prefer Catch and eat

  • man i love catching suckers, carp, buffalo etc.

and how is 40lb fish a pest?! i would love to catch one of those things

  • i hate those fuckers i gotta put up with these and huge ass carp that break 40 lb line...

  • I guess it all depends on what your fishing for. Those 40lb pain in the butt carp are a trophy fish to some. The video was for fun. THanks for stopping by and commenting

  • no problem, now i got a use for them damn carp i catch and the suckers i catch bought a smoker.

  • lol!!!

  • @randomclam8ownz u mean u gotta put up with REAL gamefish while u catch minnows with ure kiddie dipnet.

  • @ChrisH11515 Never used a dipnet and dont plan on it, i dont consider carp a "gamefish" but they do fight i'd still rather catch a pike or a catfish

  • me and my grandpa spear these in the creek by my house. check out the vidoe on here dodgers first fishing trip, its the first one of my dog and his sucker.

    -jenny

  • i use a blowgun with mini broadhead darts. one dart and fish flip over and they actually taste good

  • How do you prepare these?

  • I bet that fish could give someone a hickey on there arm. lol that would be a weird story... where'd you get that hickey from... a sucker fish.

  • no dbout! Small fish, all for fun!

  • kill succa fesh

  • Everyone who gave me a thumbs down need a basic biology class where they discuss non-native introduced pest that destroy an eco system. Put that thumb right up where the sun don't shine and spin on it until you puke!!!!!

  • another -1 from me xD

  • They are a pest at times, for the sport of fishing they are fun.

  • @ryereelfishn very true, it is fun to catch an 18 inch sucker

  • i never saw anyone catch one in such a small area.

  • Streams in Western, PA have tons. If you really want to fish for them you can, i prefer not to.

  • caught one of em they normally dont bite wat time was it

    wat bait

    where

    and wat temp

    thxx

  • Middle of the day, damn thing was small, we were just having fun!

  • definatly wont catch any trout if you release crap fish!!!!! Why in the hell didn't you kill that south american non-native pest?

  • Fish is a fish, dont disrespect. Suckers can produce into a fun game to to catch for children.

  • I don't disagree that sucker fish are "fun to catch for kids" The truth is they would be trout/salmon/steelhead ect. instead of suckers or squa fish if they wern't introduced to this area. Nothing worse than having your favorite fishing hole invaded by these "pests" I've seen a school of sucker fish following right behind salmon spawning eating the eggs. Just think how fun trout would be to catch for a kid instead of these. You can eat every other type of native fish.

  • you can eat suckers... you just have to smoke them. but yes you are right, just leave these things on the banks

  • you forgot bout fish head stew!!!!!!

  • not true catch and release is a great thing it provides more fish for everyone to catch it is true that many of the stocked trout die when it gets hoter thought

  • never catch and release stocked rainbows, the mortallity is high, Have seen dozens dead and dying downstream from a stocking, the fish die in warm weather, take your 5 and leave the rest for others, if you catch and release a dozen they will die and thats less for everyone

  • eh, im not sure about that. I caught a 6 1/4 lb trout out of a trout stream that was stocked 2 times a week...

  • Ya I disagree here, never say never.
