The one good thing about Ryan's budget proposal is that it will put a lot of right wingers out of thier jobs and homes. They'll have to move in with the kids who won't have jobs either. Many will die from lack of proper affardable health care. I'm all for that
The ONLY way to bring jobs back to America is to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr.
This is the only way we can compete with China. Paul Ryan and my fellow republicans need to act on this now. Employers also should not have to carry the burdern of paying for health care either. Go get em Paul!
The one good thing about Ryan's budget proposal is that it will put a lot of right wingers out of thier jobs and homes. They'll have to move in with the kids who won't have jobs either. Many will die from lack of proper affordable health care. I'm all for that.
There are FEW people on this planet that know the US budget like Paul Ryan. He doesn't just speak in generalities and platitudes like EVERY other politician, he's one of the very few that brings actual substance when he talks.

It disappoints me that this guy was on the CATO Institute channel, he is a neo-con. Yes he is against the budget but so are all the other Republicans and most of them of aren't for liberty.
He's not a bad guy, at this point, we're just trying to stop the spending. He does speak pretty well, though. I think if Ron Paul spoke a little better in debate he would be more popular.
Poor mr oblama, he has no clue about business. He thinks, that he will simply tax businesses at a higher rate and he will get more money. He's assuming that bussesses will work hard, or even harder to pay lots more taxes and to support all of oblama's socialist programs,,,, Yea, that's going to happen!
During the Reagan years the top tax rate was 50 percent. During the Eisenhower years it was a whopping NINETY percent. Both Reagan and Ike were Republicans. Did the Right consider that "socialism" or "redistribution of wealth"?
Obama is trying to raise the tax rate from 35 to 39 percent, the same rate it was during the Clinton years, which saw the greatest economic expansion in world HISTORY.
thelittlewei, wasn't a lot of that due to the tech bubble? You know.. the one that promptly popped when everyone realized .coms were bullshit?
More to the point, this thread looks to me as anti-right as it can be taken anti-left. Suggest you read it again, you seem to have missed that part entirely.
Its not BS. Republicans now are barely any better than Democrats. Republicans preach that government is too big and incompetent until it comes to Dept. of Homeland Security and the Pentagon then all of sudden government is wonderful and however many billions of dollars it takes to bomb the rest of the world into democracy and freedom is worth it. Obama's gigantic government spending spree is bad but dont forget Bush spent historically high amounts and grew government unprecedentedly.

Obama and his crony's have no concept of free market capitalism or the basics of job creation.

All that with no teleprompter, no stammering, no hemming or hawing.
Just the facts.
What a brilliant and "on the ball" young man!
Congressman Ryan knows his "stuff", backwards, forward, and inside out.
Draft this man for President.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
Once you start on the path of liberty, it's infectious give him time he will get the idea...
Look how long it took Ron Paul and Bob Barr to get on the right path?

So I'm counting two good guys in congress. Are there any others that are consistently pro-liberty and economic freedom?

I'm no fan of Obama, in fact I STRONGLY disapprove of his domestic policies, but let's be mature and civil.
