R.I.P Edward Hardwicke. He will be sadly missed. By myself – and many others – Hardwicke will always be remembered for his unforgettable role as Dr Watson, Holmes' loyal associate (after David Burke left the series). I have always appreciated Hardwicke's engaging and often witty performance, faithful to a great degree to the mood and vibes as depicted in Conan Doyle's original writings.
Gorgeous stuff. A great song and some lovely clips that really show the enduring friendship of these 2 men which was so wonderfully portrayed in these 3 outstanding performances.
This is a truly lovely video from start to finish. Thank you so much for sharing this with all us on YT. It's one of those videos that draw interest to the Granada series too, very imporant.
