@allghilliedup21 Females are eligible to join the Marines as enlisted or officer. Female recruits are all sent to Parris Island MCRD. All training is segregated by sex. Last time I checked, however, only male units are sent into combat missions for various reasons, though female receive identical training. Look up WM/Woman Marine for more info.

I have been thinking about joining the USMC but I know that my parents will never sign of on the paper work, so I have to wait until I'm 18 at least, then my family has told me that they think I could never survive the basic training, I want to prove them wrong. 1.5 mile in under 12:30 as a squad
1.5 mile return in under 10:00
push ups- minimum 40
sit ups- minimum of 50 something
pull-ups- was 8 forward grip
level 12 or above in bleep test
all followed by a determination test at the end of the day lol that was just the pre joining fitness test :P

They do however, protect the commercial interests of a few powerful individuals. They are your best and brightest and they are being exploited. The best way to fight back is to stay the hell out of the armed forces. Long term that is the best way to protect your freedon.

Two years later, a couple deployments and after picking up rank they expect me to do the farting. This is ridiculous. I didn't sign up to fart on scared boots.
