i loved oblivion so much i played until the disc stopped working....with that said, should i pick this game up because im itching to play a good midevil setting rpg????

i have to be honest its very different them oblivion mainly the battle system is completly different but it is still a very good game but you may want to rent it first or get it used just encase you don't like it.

one other question: is the gameplay more of a open world, roam wherever u want format or more linear, like stay on a path to go places?

Its linear you can't really explore and all dungeons are straight forward.

This game would be great if they just cut about 90% of the fuckin' gay as hell dialogue scenes and dropped in a nice sandbox environment rather than some linear illusion of an open world. It would have also been nice if they increased the number of different characters you can have in your party.
